Shower backed up Thermostat didn't work Noisy Staff was great to get issues fixed but this room seemed pretty old. After room was cleaned it smelled like wet dirty mop. I'm sure there were better rooms in this hotel. The place overral was good. Buffet breakfast pretty awful got to butter at 9am buffet ends at ten and it was pretty gross and sloppy. It was like there ran to pret manger for some bagels and orange juice.

The location of the hotel is great it's in the middle of everything. The staff is great I realized that I closed the safe with a number I could not remember and the maintenance person was up in our room opening the safe within a few minutes. They don't have a business center but WiFI works really well and the front desk will print anything you need for you. The 10th floor has a gym and a cute balcony type area. I would stay here again.

This was our first time staying at Cassa 45. We were in town for the NY NOW gift show at the Javits Center. Location was good. The rooms were small (we had 2 doubles) but were very clean no funky smells. The beds were extremely comfortable. There was very little road noise, we were on the 16th floor. The front desk attendants were always pleasant and helpful.

Perfect for couples NYC getaway. Rooms are small, but everything is very clean. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We took an overnight flight and landed in JFK at 6am, took public transportation and were at the hotel by 8am. We were able to take a nap before getting our day started thanks to them allowing us to check-in early because of availability of rooms. They brought an iron up to our room upon request. Super close to subway, timesquare, Whole Foods, and lots of other places. Definitely staying here again next time we're in NYC.

Ideal location and wonderful, comfortable stay

Pros: Front staff, bed linens (soft), pilllows, lighting and bathroom design. Great rain showerhead!
Cons: Room service missed my room at 5pm the following day, they were "very busy". But promptly made up for it. Hot water was not as hot at 9/10AM.
Location: Location = awesome, off the crazy Times SQ touristy vibe, but close enough if you want to see the lights. Near HK and good midtown restaurants.
I'm a well seasoned NY visitor (not tourist). I wanted to be close to the theaters and Hell's Kitchen, but also be central to my NYC friends. Cassa hotel popped up as an option and given its 4+ star rating, I am grateful to the other reviewers for their spot-on ratings. Front desk staff, very nice, hot chocolate in lobby (it is winter afterall), and the rooms are exactly what they look like in the hotel marketing photos, but also from the reviewers. I had a spacious king deluxe and it was comfy, great pillows! Quiet floor, quiet room. You can walk to any point of interest from this location. Koreatown was awesome, as is Flatiron. Plethora of 4+ star restaurant choices (and deli's) are in a 10-15 min walk from hotel. Bryant Park is a few blocks away and there are multiple subway lines easily accessible to downtown. To be honest, I still enjoy seeing the lights in Times Square and walking to the theater on 47th street from the hotel was safe and so very easy to navigate.
