Good city links, run down hotelPosted Aug 19, 2015
Smelt of smoke and marijuana, but has good transport links. Very run down hotel, didn't try the breakfasts.

Not what we expected!Posted Jul 30, 2015
Location: Bantry Bay Publik House Pub was great! Total 'local' for everyone, but the food was delish!
First of all we were expecting to stay at a Best Western. This was not the case! No longer owned or affiliated with Best Western, therefore not CAA or AAA approved! Elevator was creepy and I was scared when in the elevator a man got in and started taking my picture! Terrified, I got out and stayed in my room! When booking we were told no problems in leaving our truck in the lot while we cruised out of Manhattan. The night before when I ask if we needed anything to put on our dash, we were told they do not allow parking, and that I would have to pay. I showed the them dialogue that I had with a staff member, as I had documented it all, and they said that the manager told them that we could leave the truck and the staff member that said this to us would be paying out of his pay check. Also, telling us that there was no security for our truck while we were gone. This resulted in at 11pm, last minute finding parking for a week in Manhattan! Not an easy thing to do! Room was ok, had a city view, but overall will not stay there again, or recommend to anyone else too.

Free parking and free breakfast help to make up for older hotel. Room, especially bathroom, is small. Overcharged me by $40 per night. Took couple of phone calls and a week later before I got my refund. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful during the stay. Free shuttle to subway helped

Helt okej hotell. Rymligt rum, men luktade rök från rummet brevid. Frukosten var bra.

Pros: Good breakfast variety, well equipped room
Location: Not the best area, wouldn't walk alone outside after dusk. We were by car so it wasn't promblem to get there. Ca. 10 mins to LGA by car.
Hotel was OK, staff was very helpful, our room was non-smoker but smellt like was smoker before.

Pros: desayuno incluido

the best cheap hotel near Brooklyn.Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: low price, clean enough, quiet enough, easy parking, shuttle to subway 30 minutes apart.
Cons: key cards. Mine failed . (The welcome gift of a bottle of water and some chips in a bag was soooo cheap it was more of an insignificant gesture)
Location: across from an expressway and a huge cemetery, one could always go out to be run over, or zapped by some ghostly vampire with a saber on a horse.
Aside from a moment when the reception clerk could not find my reservation, everything ran just fine.
