Really nice

I would definitely recommend! The hot staff are so nice and helpful. The room was very clean, beautiful and comfortable. It's in a great location, very easy to get around anywhere in the City. It's in a beautiful neighborhood.

Good location - near Times Square. Clean, modern rooms. Breakfast was a little disappointing - not much choice but it is free!

Small room but gets the job done

Posted Dec 31, 2016
Clean hotel , decently clean room but very small. For the price of this room it can't be beat . My only complaint is that I called the front desk at around 4am to request a late checkout, the guy that answered the phone answered by sayin "What?" . Very unprofessional and disrespectful. Overall experience of hotel for the one night was great tho .

Good, Affordable, hosting.

The Midtown West has all the basics one could ask for - relatively comfortable bed, clean shower/tub room, OK dinner, an OK location (not the closest to any specific subway line but not too off to the side to bother very much), friendly staff and decent breakfast. It is, however, exactly that - good with the basics and nothing else more. If you want a gym you'll have to go out to the next door hotel (it's ok - they have an agreement about it). If you want something other than carb based, heavy sweets food, dine out. etc. On the flip side, Hell's kitchen isn't a bad neighbourhood. Nice coffee shops, local businesses and restaurants dot the place and, across the corner there are even some notable dining places. walking distance to any of the NRW12 stations in the area isn't bad (10-15 minutes) as to any of the broadway/off broadway area.

Does the job

Posted Dec 9, 2016
Pros: Comfy beds and great shower. Breakfast included in price albeit very simple
Cons: Clean the windows of rooms. Reliable room replenishment.
Location: Fine quieter location - its off 10th Avenue West 48th so very simple to walk to most 'spots'. Good deli's for takeaway food on way to hotel
With so many to chose from its easy to make a big mistake. This was very OK but the rooms are very small. Fab shower in bathroom and very comfy bed. Tea and coffee facilities which is a bonus. Replenishment of supplies in bathroom and tea and coffee unreliable but dealt with ok but you have to go to reception they wont come to you. My duvet the first night was hopeless - all the stuffing had solidified in one corner of each section - NO warmth at all - they were quite surprised and handled it well. The breakfast is a bit of a bun fight and very simple! - sharing the few tables there are but its good to get the basics before starting out! Staff relaxed and easy going. Midtown west is a good area and the hotel is a good location away from the big noise and lights stuff but its all very accessible by foot. Great deli's around there to take food back to the room if you're too exhausted to go out again in the evening.

Right place for Time Square for its price

Posted Dec 2, 2016
The morning crew was not friendly. People were still taking their breakfast and they literally close the breakfast service even though people was actually grabbing their meals!!! Other than that everything was nice in this hotel...
