Convenient but expensive

Pros: Location to airport
Cons: Description differentiating from the other Marriott down the street
Location: Cab ride to everything
Booking for business can often be challenging. Finding a good hotel that is convenient is often the best bet. Pretty far of the beaten path for New York City touring while there - forget about walking but a quick yellow cab / uber ride.

It was pleasant quiet ...

The only thing I parked outside and because my car had covers on the license plate and I come from Connecticut they gave me two tickets ..ridiculous from the back plate and one from the front plate I was not happy at all

The resurrant was aweful!!!!! Horrible service

We ordered 2 hamburgers well done and 1 pizza. Food cam out. 1 hamburger was well done one was raw on the inside and red. They took it back to fix. My family ate all thier food before new one came out. New one was very red on inside as well. I was so hungery and we were leaving hotel for train station no more time to go somewhere else to sit to eat. The manager barely spoke english other than m sorry I get you something else over and over this an hour after sitting there waiting. I really didnt want anything else from the small varity on the menu. But said the pizza at least i had seen my husbands. So I waited on my food a 3rd time. The while meal should have been paid for by them because of what went on. But no we paid for the other 2 meals and 18% tip was already added on so there was no choice on the tip. Out of the time we were there the guy gave us water 2 times. Was watching tv when we had to flag him down by another waiter w the first burger not done. But had mo choice of what to tip him. Aweful!

Birthday Trip

This experience was beyond my expectations. I absolutely enjoyed my time here. It is so close to the airport but noise was never an issue.

Nothing in the refrigerator

Really nice comfortable bed! Slept like a baby. Would've been nice to have something in the refrigerator

Gross stain on the bed spread

Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: Clean the rooms!
Location: Traffic is a nightmare...1 hour to go 2 miles.
We didn't complain about the stain because of the amount of running around we did for my grandfather's funeral.

Surprisingly good

Pros: Thank heavens the bar was open and there was some food. My room was clean and quiet, and up to Marriott standards.
Cons: Arranging for the shuttle to pick us up at the terminal was a pain - unanswered telephone, long wait. Next time I'll take a taxi.
I missed a plane and got stuck overnight at LaGuardia overnight. Landing in a decent hotel brightened my otherwise bad day.
