Excellent service and locationPosted Oct 7, 2015
The hotel is located a short walk from Time Square which makes it the perfect distance away for a peaceful night sleep. Again a few minutes walk to the subway which gives easy access to many tourist spots. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained. Had everything we needed, excellent shower and comfy bed which is needed after lots of walking around New York. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful with any requests. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel so unable to comment. Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would definitely stay again if in town.

5 Stars all AroundPosted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was updated and clean. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do.
Location: Near Times Square and the subway line. Also close to Broadway theaters, and great restaurants.
The Distrikt hotel was the perfect choice for our trip. Never having been to NYC, we didn't have the slightest idea of where to stay... but luckily we picked a great place. The hotel is only 2 blocks from the subway station and 2-3 blocks from Times Square... yet it was incredibly quiet. We were able to walk to a lot of great attractions right from the hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They offered suggestions on places to visit and the most economical way to get there. The room was way bigger than I anticipated with a beautiful shower and super comfy bed. If/When I go to NYC again, I will for sure be staying at this hotel again!

Delightful hotel close to Times SquarePosted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: Location, friendly staff, standard of accommodation and the price.
Cons: There is a fair bit of construction work next door so when that is completed the access and ambience of the area will improve.
Location: Time Square, Airport shuttle on W42nd, Broadway shows and any number of fine restaurants . Subway 5min away.
Our room had a guaranteed view, including the Hudson River which is a must when staying in NY. We were impressed with not only the view from our room on the 23rd floor, but the spaciousness and comforts provided. Ok so the bathroom was not too big, but it did have all the essentials. We were more than satisfied with the range and standard of the breakfast and found all the staff to be friendly and helpful. We only stayed 3 nights but would have loved to have stayed on, and we will certainly look up District again when next in town. Perfect location for Times Square and all the shows. And an added bonus an laundromat just around the corner.

Excellent location. The staff are warm and welcoming each time you go in and out of the hotel. All furnishings are modern. Great wifi and coffee/tea maker in the room. There are about five rooms per floor, so it's also very quiet. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but if you have been to Europe, you'll be comfortable in them!

Last Minute Trip to NYCPosted Oct 1, 2015
Pros: The Hotel location and size of the room was great. NYC hotels can tend to have super-tight rooms. The one we stayed in was very clean and comfortable.
Cons: Everything about the Hotel and Staff is great. Nothing needs to be improved upon.
Location: Too many things close to The Distrikt Hotel to begin to list.
We decided to spend some time in NYC for an Anniversary. The Distrikt Hotel looked interesting online and had good reviews so we decided to stay there. They have a super friendly and professional Hotel Staff, especially Manny, who went above & beyond. Many thanks! It was an easy check in and vehicle valet. The rate for the room was, IMO, way high (well, this was a last minute trip) and the room wouldn't have been our first choice (based on the locale within the building and view - or lack thereof) but, again, we booked last minute so, no 'real' issue. Would I stay at The Distrikt and pay the same rate I paid? No. Would I book in advance and pay the 'normal' rate and stay again? Yes, definitely. The room was very, very clean and very comfortable and convenient. Great breakfast every day with great service.

Perfect locationPosted Sep 29, 2015
Pros: The hotel was in a perfect location for everything. The staff were 100%. Nothing was a problem for them. Would certainly recommend it.
Cons: I can't think of anything that could be improved upon.
Location: The location is perfect. Times Square is literally 5 minutes walk away. We were told to go down 9 th avenue for a good selection of the restaurants.
This was our first time in New York. We had an absolutely wonderful time.

Super guter Ausblick vom 32. Stock!Posted Sep 28, 2015
Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das einzige Manko war, dass es keine warmen Eierzubereitungen im Buffet gab. Wir haben jedoch eh nur 1 mal dort gefrühstückt.

Excellent but construction site next doorPosted Sep 27, 2015
We got a really good discount through Expedia for this excellent hotel Only 5 rooms on each floor so there's no getting away from daytime construction noise from large project next door starting at 7am and usually stopping by 4pm but they have a permit to work to 11pm. Site isn't allowed to start before 9am but even by complaining to hotel who passed this on to builder it still went from 7am. We adjusted our sightseeing so we got up earlier. Otherwise hotel is exvellent and is in close location to theatres, subway, Times Square and Port Authority to get cheap bus to and from airports.

Great location. Great place to stay.Posted Sep 26, 2015
This is a great place to stay. You're just outside the mayhem of Times Square, yet close enough to walk down to it. Subway is close. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.
