Pros: Helpful staff, great location
Cons: Any problems are realistically outside the control of the hotel for instance at the moment there's a lot of construction right outside the hotel
Location: Shopping, eating out, Bryant park, all the main attractions of Manhattan
Good hotel in a great location.very central for all of the places I wanted to visit in Manhattan. Staff were very helpful with directions and maps.I'd also recommend the airporter bus for the transfer as it stops and picks up within about half a block from the Dylan

Staff was excellent. They had great advice for places to eat and had no problem checking us in early when we arrived.

Le Dylan Hôtel est très bien situé. Juste à côté de Grand Central. Le personnel est gentil et accueillant, toujours à l'écoute. La chambre est spacieuse et très propre. Notre séjour était parfait !

The purpose of our trip was close access to the 7 train for the U.S. Open. From that standpoint the hotel was great. However, the room was kind of small with no view. Bathroom was tiny with no counterspace at all. Room furniture was pretty dated. There was literally nowhere to plug in your electronics. TV signal was spotty and staticy on most channels. Anytime we tried to call the front desk, housekeeping etc no one answered. People at the front desk were friendly and helpful in person. I was also charged over $800 by accident that wasn't noticed until I got home. I called and it seemed to be taken care of quickly when I called about it. Overall this place was acceptable but nowhere close to a 4 star.

Pros: bathroom was spacious
Cons: front desk staff should check incoming reservations for accuracy.
Location: close to subway stations.
Took 3 visits to the reception desk to get the correct room- first time was a single bed ( after I reserved 2 double beds), 2nd room, opened the door and guests were inside!...Wasted an hours time doing this. Room was fine but will not return.

Pros: En la mesilla de noche junto a la cama había un radio reloj despertador con puerto para el iPod. GENIAL Elevadores rápidos.
Cons: El papel de baño era casi transparente, fui a una tienda a comprar mi propio papel de baño.
Location: A ese tramo de la calle 41 también le llaman Librarian Way, porque en el cruce con la quinta está la famosa biblioteca pública.
A la hora de reservar me fijé en lo elevado del precio, tan caro como un hotel de gran turismo en Cancún o Las Vegas, pero con sus diferencias. Al entrar no hay botones que ayude con el equipaje. La recepción está estupenda y el personal de ahí puede conseguir entradas para algunas de las atracciones de la ciudad. Al subir al piso los pasillos están decorados con buen gusto y algunas citas sobre New York, como el fragmento de la letra de New York State of Mind de Billy Joel que estaba junto a mi cuarto. Al entrar me encontré con un cuarto limpio, pero con un mobiliario que ha visto mejores días. Muebles que por su estilo asumo que son de los noventas, pero que jamás han recibido mantenimiento: la puerta del armario no cierra, el mueble debajo del lavabo con destrozos varios... Había caja de seguridad dentro del armario, pero estaba a nivel de piso, en una ubicación incómoda. Había una mesa que usé para desayunar la mayoría de los días. Hay un escritorio amplio, sin cajones, sólo repisas. La televisión sí es cutting edge, nada de cinescopios viejos. Como es de esperare para esta categoría hubo frigobar bien surtido. Las amenidades estupendas, a falta de enjuague bucal y acondicionador para el pelo. Tienes Grand Central Station a un paso. Al terminar mi estancia aquí, me cambié al Roger Smith que está en Lexington y la 47. donde estaba el resto de mis acompañantes, sin entrar en muchos detalles que no atañen a esta reseña, el Dylan es muy superior.h

Location: Location was in part why we booked this hotel but it was a thorough disappointment.
Such an unfortunate experience with the Dylan hotel. We booked blindly through Expedia, expecting a 4 star hotel with certain amenities but got quite the opposite along with a huge headache to try and move to another hotel. The hotel appears nice in the lobby area but when we got to our room it was an entirely different story. The wifi would connect but was not working, the outlet plugs were falling out of the walls (hazardous with kids), the marble floors in the bathrooms were stained yellow and brown, the beds were flat, sagging and you could feel the springs, the carpets were sticky and oily, the drapes would not shut and were filthy. And to add to our disappointment when we voiced our concern to the front desk we were in turn given a rude attitude and told the wifi is connected there is nothing else they could do, the cleanliness of the room was the best that could be provided by their current staff, and they refused to move us to another room to attempt to have a cleaner and more comfortable room. When we expressed our concerns and discomfort to Expedia (a manager named Tony) we were met with the same refusal to assist in amending the situation in any way. The manager told us to call back on Monday when the corporate office would be open. We were also told we would not be refunded in any way and could not be rebooked with another hotel in the mean time. I was in absolute dismay at the situation and the refusal for either party to help in any way. Book with a brand name.

シングルに6泊しました、部屋の掃除はきれいでしたが、トイレットペーパーの替えの交換が 遅かったことだけ気になりました。お部屋にはコーヒーメーカー、コーヒー、紅茶等が備え つけられており無料で飲めるのは嬉しいです。インターネットの接続も良かったです。
