何しろゴシップガールのチヤックバスが買ったホテル、しかし、予想より小さくて古くて残念だけど、何とか給排水設備は日本並み。 スタッフも人に寄りますが、総合的に丸

Pros: Roof top bar

This hotel is so overrated - keep searching!

Posted Sep 1, 2015
The staff at this hotel were unhelpful overall but especially when the "free" wifi was down for 4 out of our 5 day stay. Go to Starbucks was their solution. Mega annoying and clearly this happens to them regularly. Was offered the "paid" wifi without charge on our last day. Concierge obviously thought he was above doing the job he was employed for when asked to arrange transport to the airport. He also managed to put through the charge twice when I checked my credit card statement. The only staff member we encountered that was pleasant and did any work was the bell hop. The Lifts were remarkably slow in arriving in lobby or at floor to go down. Oh boy. SLOW. Factor in an additional 10 minutes to leave the hotel. Room itself was fine and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom tiny with shower flooding after every use due to no screen. In room coffee was charged at $3 per use...no thanks I'll go to Starbucks as suggested by your staff, pay less have someone make it for me and use their wifi whilst there. The photos of the roof top pool are completely misleading (tiny!) and the whole area and stairwell leading to pool had a putrid smell. The location was good- thankfully. It meant we could spend as little time at The Empire as possible.

Great to have rooftop pool.

Posted Aug 29, 2015
Stayed late August for 5 nights with my husband and 2 children. Great location and pool was fab for our children with the exception of the Saturday when hen parties took over the rooftop!! Free wifi was a disappointment as didn't always connect..should be free in room. No complimentary tea/coffee which should be an expectation with a 4* hotel. Rooms are very small we had a superior double for 4 people but was very basic with a small bathroom. Rooms are in need of refurbishment and the air conditioning unit in the room was very noisy and dripped water. Staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful.

Good location, close to Columbus circle and upper

Cons: The desk staff were perfunctory and failed to explain everything to me at check in
Disappointing, staff did not explain the terms of the rate that included continental breakfast was not in the regular dining room but upstairs somewhere, and never gave me the voucher for this on arrival, so I wound up with insufficient time to have the breakfast I had paid for, and they would not reimburse me for this.

Localização perfeita

O hotel fica ao lado do Lincoln Center , há alguns passos do central park! Fora da muvuca da Times Square, o endereço permite muitos passeios a pé! Recomendo!

Great location ...terriffic staff. Resturant on the first floor received goods and supplies by truck all through the night. Way too much noise... Difficult to impossible to sleep.

Hotel in zentraler Lage

Posted Aug 23, 2015

Nice hotel

Pros: Having the room serviced every day. Very clean and tidy. Having iron, hair dryer, good shower, good air con.
Cons: Lifts took a long time and stairs weren't well signed/ usable. More coat hangers and hooks to hang clothes up were needed. Wifi free in the rooms.
Location: Location excellent for central park and museums, good shopping at Columbus Circle, Lincoln centre and wandering around Columbus Avenue for food.
Had an enjoyable stay at the Empire, room was serviced every day which was a pleasant surprise. It had all the amenities needed. We ate breakfast there some mornings which was good value. It wasn't too busy and the bar and lobby was pleasant.
