OVER payed for stay. The room was extremely small for two elderly people (parents). old school air/heat and very noisy.

For being in the prime location of NYC, not having space in guest rooms and public areas is one of the challenges we are facing. Our guest rooms are fairly the same size, some rooms are bigger based on the layout of the room. Close to Penn Station

Pros: The staff! So helpful and accomodating. The business centre and complimentary breakfast was also great.
Cons: My room was tiny and had a view of a yoga studio next door.
Location: Close to Penn Station, I walked there with a large suitcase in under 10 minutes. 2 subway stations at either end of the street.
Walking distance to Penn Station tucked away in a little side street between 2 flower shops is this little gem. The room was very small and there is no fridge. However the thing that makes this hotel is the staff, they were extremely helpful with directions and pleasant to deal with. There are subway stations closely that will take you Uptown or Downtown. As a lone female I felt safe walking around the area and there is a great pizza place on 6th Ave for take out.

Location: close to everything in Chelsea and other things too
basic room fairly tight but my expectations weren't that high based on price

Location perks

Pros: Location Breakfast included Rooms clean Fairly quiet Walking distance from Penn Station which has rail link to Newark Airport
Cons: Breakfast times until 10 am everyday (not just weekends) Double beds are not really doubles

Terrible customer service

Pros: Nothing was good at this hotel. I stayed at this hotel 4 nights 2 of these nights the hotel didn't have water at their rooms. They couldn't get us different hotels because they were all booked. Also, they didn't even refund a penny to us for all this problem. I spoke to a manager and supervisor no one want to refund me for these 2 nights. I don't recommend this hotel to any one its terrible managment.

Excellent staff!

We arrived tired and hungry. The staff gave us bags of chips and water bottles! The location is great and close to subway stations (red line). Small rooms but hey it's NYC.

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to where I was working; normally I like to stay in design hotels so I was a bit worried about staying here. To my surprise and delight, it was a great experience. The Operations Supervisor Kevin greeted me and checked me in swiftly. When he asked if I wanted a bottle of water, I mistakenly thought he said a bottle of wine! So we had a good laugh about that. After walking the neighbourhood and getting back to my room, I entered to see a bottle of wine and a hand written note to me. Talk about going above a beyond. In addition, I found the room and bed comfortable and the exercise room was sufficient enough to get in a workout. This is not a design hotel but it makes up for it in spades for its location, pleasant staff and fact that breakfast is included for those who are in a rush in the am to get working.

Best location and service!

The hotel staff was consistently friendly and polite. Every time we needed something done they would do it for us right away. I have never been happier with service. The rooftop view is also very pleasing and beautiful. I will stay there every time I visit NY.
