Great lobby. Lot's of areas to sit and tables to eat at. Staff pleasant and friendly. Room attractive and clean. Bed a little high and mattress firm, just on the edge of uncomfortable for me, but my husband loved it. It's a matter of preference. Different pillow densities available to choose from. Terrific shower. Hot water, good water pressure, and wonderful shower head. A/C working well. Huge tv screen and free Showtime. Large breakfast room. A small negative-Same breakfast items every day. If you're there a short time, not an issue. But otherwise decent breakfast for no extra charge. Of course, masks at all times unless eating. To dine in the breakfast room, vaccine card and I.D.'s required. We arrived via Amtrak and Penn Station a short walk. The city had their finest out in full force. Basically, felt safe. Some panhandlers very pesty and many homeless sleeping on the street. But this is the norm in most areas of the city. Hotel has reasonable rates. Would definitely return again and recommend highly.
