Even though this property is in a great neighborhood, the building is old and doesn’t have air conditioning till a certain date in May. We had a drainage issue n the bathroom and they didn’t have anyone to fix it and they couldn’t give us a clean room to move into so we could shower and change. It was a very disappointing experience to say the least.

The two people at the front desk were so gracious, hospitable, and forthcoming with information for my husband and me. We were able to walk to our restaurant and enjoy window shopping along Fifth Avenue, including Tiffany’s. What fun! Even though our room was on the second floor, it’s so quiet.

When the safe in our room wouldn’t stop making a horrible buzzing sound, they immediately upgraded us to a suite. Staff was friendly and helpful through our entire stay. Food and drinks at the bar were fantastic. Great place to stay.

I loved the room because it was clean with an updated carpet. Especially great because the room looked out into an inner courtyard surrounded by buildings which made it extremely quiet. Amazingly peaceful in the city that never sleeps. I can't get that at home in the Chicago suburbs.

The good: very pleasant, very sophisticated but not pretentious, well-appointed, comfortable, nice solid furnishings, good-sized room, very quiet, incredible location. The not-so-good: another one of those stupid, trendy, half-glass shower doors that results in water all over the floor, the entry switch turns off the lamps and the combo alarm clock/charger port (!), and (an automatic 1-star deduction from me) a resort fee. I know that nearly every hotel charges these, and a hotel that doesn't is at a pricing disadvantage, but I DONT'T CARE. It's still deceptive.

Midtown New York is not the prettiest part of town. It can suffer traffic congestion by day and be too quiet at night, but Bloomies is just two blocks away from the hotel andPark Ave just a block away opens everything up. The hotel is a tucked-away gem, looking not unlike a London club. Lobby offers little seating, however, hallways are bright and very attractive.

The suite was perfect for me, as I had several meetings over the 3 days I was there. The staff was excellent and the restaurant worked for me for a client lunch as well. My onesmall complaint is that the bathroom had no towel bars. Where was one supposed to hang a towel that could be reused? The only option was the floor. I've never seen a hotel bathroom without.

We found the hotel very nice with good size rooms. The only thing that we didn't like was the shower. There was w really strange shower head right in the middle of the shower hanging from the center of the ceiling. The restaurant in the hotel was really nice and the food was excellant.

This is a great spot, will definitely be back. Rooms are well appointed. Building is a bit dated, but with charm. Great service, wonderful staff. Would be great with children as well.

The hotel has an excellent location. Price is reasonable. Rooms are very small and ours had no view. The bathroom is clean and modern and the bed is comfortable and large. If you plan to use your hotel to sleep and be treated kindly this place is great

Great stay and we are going back in April. Just be aware that there are interior rooms which face the inside - no sky visible from the lower floor. Can't be helped - but the room makes up for it very nicely. It's good for someone who does not want to hear the city traffic.

Upon arrival, a new room was provided when I asked as my original booking had a ratty cover on the bed. When the lady at reception saw the pictures of the stains , another option was quickly provided.Still, no apology was offered so it was a bit odd. After that welcome things ameliorated. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I would return and recommend !
