great hotel

Pros: Staff, comfort, wine at 5 o'clock! Very accommodating with children.
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Easy to reach all major attractions
Easy to walk to Central Park and short taxi drive to city centre. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Most enjoyable stay!

Small hotel

Pros: Position and the fact that it had a kitchen.
Cons: Décor is dated and could do with an update.
Location: In a more residential area and you need to use the subway or bus to get to midtown/uptown.
Smaller hotel but with good in room facilities. The décor is dated but did not detract from the overall stay. Well placed close to subway and buses.

Friendly, personable staff

Charming, discreet, boutique without the attitude. Quiet, feels more like home than a hotel.

Pros: Location Staff Amenities Comfortable beds
Cons: Our room was not available for the first night upon arrival, but Pedro Hilario and the staff handled it very well.
Location: The hotel was located on a (relatively) quite street on the Upper East Side. The Q subway was right around the corner, which gave us easy access to ma
We spent 5 nights with a family of 5, to show the kids NYC. It was a bit windy and chilly, but it didn't spoil the vacation because we were able to go back to our 'apartment' to rest and warm up before going out again.

Clean and conveniently located

Stayed for several nights while my husband was recovering from surgery at a local hospital. the hotel was extremely clean and located very conveniently to many east side hospitals. Though I wasn't there for touristy activities, there were many in the area (serendipity 3 and Dylan's candy bar just a few short blocks away) I would definitely return here in the future.
