On arrival of the Hampton Inn we had a stress free and easy check in! Staff was very accommodating. There was a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The free buffet breakfast was a hit with my husband, lots of variety too.

Central location - pleasant staffPosted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: The location of this hotel is ideal.
Cons: The cleaners using the only 2 lifts at peak times didn't help with the often long waiting times.
Location: Walking distance to Broadway, Times Square, Empire State and and Rockefeller buildings, Central Station, Madison Square Garden, 5th Ave etc.
This hotel is extremely central on Manhatten meaning that most of the places the average tourist will want to visit are in easy walking distance and if you don't want to walk there are plenty of subway stations close by. The rooms are small but this is a common feature in NYC and my only other criticism is the length of time we sometimes had to wit for a lift - but that's not really that big a deal. The staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful and we were able to leave our bags after checkout to give us longer in the city. The breakfast was fine - standard fayre with the usual selection and different hot options each day.

Hôtel bien sous tout rapport.Posted Aug 18, 2015

Great location and staffPosted Aug 12, 2015
Location was great, walking distance to MSG, subways, and "R" 24 hour market/ restaurant RIGHT across the street! We ate something from there every day! Great hampton complimentary bfast, great staff. Hotel room a little smaller than normal Hampton, but in NYC we were expecting that! We WOULD definitely recommend to anyone!

Close to Times SquarePosted Aug 3, 2015
Cons: Ice machine should be away from customers rooms.
We were able to walk to Times Square, Broadway musical theaters, Empire State Building, etc. My kids, 13 years old and 16 years old, did not complain walking 15 minutes. If you do not want to take metro to go to Times square, this hotel is for you. It was quiet in the evening. Very clean. Tiny room without enough space to open your suitcase. The only problem we had was the ice machine outside our room. Some people came to get ice in the middle of night, and the it was loud.

Location was exactly where we needed it to be!!Posted Aug 2, 2015
Great location - right near MSG which was important to us. The staff were friendly upon check in and gave is the required information we needed. The rooms were very small - we knew it was NYC, but still thought they were smaller than we expected! No hassles with the Hotel in general - would stay there again.
