Wonderful Location in Fi-Di

Posted May 25, 2017
Pros: Everything. Comfortable bed, assortment of pillows, nicely sized bathroom with large counter top, pleasant scent in the room.
Cons: The fitted sheets for the mattress seem to be a little tight and the corners kept popping off. Perhaps this is shrinkage from industrial laundry?
Location: Seaport museum, Pace University, Wall Street, World Trade Center and 9/11 Memorial, Brooklyn Bridge, Brookfield Place, Battery Park City
Our daughter was a student at Pace, so we've stayed at many hotels in the Financial District. This one is by far our favorite. The Seaport Location makes for a 2-block walk up to Pace, as well as provides a nice quiet neighborhood for restful sleeping at night. There are late night eateries in the area, as well as 24-hour drugstores, flower shop, grocery store, and the Fulton subway station is a 5-minute walk. The staff of this hotel are the real standout. We stayed a week, and were impressed by many things. First, the desk staff seem to be on a schedule such that you can expect to see the same people working at the same times each day. Second, each one remembered us, greeted us upon our goings-out and comings-in, and took an interest in our lives. The housekeeping staff were similarly gracious and flexible.

Would Definitely Return!

Posted May 18, 2017
Pros: Location, convenience, pleasant and responsive staff Complimentary breakfast offered more variety than I expected - perfect to grab something quickly
Cons: Make-up mirror in the bathroom
Location: See above
Stayed for three nights while in NYC for my daughter's college graduation. The location is excellent - lots of sites within fairly easy walking distance (Brooklyn Bridge, 9/11 Memorial, Wall Street, Seaport, etc.). Staff was really friendly, helpful and available. Rooms are typical size for NYC, small but comfortable and clean. I really enjoyed my stay there and would absolutely return!

Stayed on 1st floor so it was noisy but room was handicapped accessible. Love the coffee and refreshing water in lobby for guests.

Clerk Lack of Customer Service

Posted Apr 25, 2017
Upon my arrival clerk registered me into a room next to a noisy elevator. Why not just tell me to my face if I would mind a room next to an elevator????????

Great hotel, just needs better housekeeping!

Posted Feb 22, 2017 on Hotels
The location was great to stay at. It wasn't far from the main areas and attractions we were visiting. The breakfast options were good. But our first night there, housekeeping did not come and clean our room the next day and then the second day there, they did not come there until 5 in the evening and she was upset we were in our room and she could not clean. So for a 3 night stay, house keeping only cleaned our once before we had to request them to clean it asap.

Pleasant service and the room was nice, though noise could easily be heard through the door. The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment as well, but not really bad.

Happy at the southern tip of Manhattan

This hotel is in a great location. Near the Seaport Museum 2 block walk, Fulton fish Market and subway. Close to FDR highway exit 2 for the Brooklyn Bridge. Friendly ,helpful staff were great. Breakfast was fresh and good (free). Room was a little small, but OK. Only reservation was closet space was too small.
