Close enough to be near Times Square...Posted Aug 25, 2015
Can't praise the staff highly enough, from concierge to assistant manager... We had problems with missing baggage from American Airlines and the staff at the hotel went out there way to help. Clean and comfortable room with all you could need within a 15min walk

OK aber sehr lautPosted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Die Lage.
Cons: Schalldichte Fenster.

Great location. Overall good experience. If you have a tall SUV you will not be able to park at this location.

Location, location, location! You can't beat it! Close to Rockefeller, Port Authority, Subway, etc. Rooms were clean, staff was nice. Loved the fridge and microwave. Only thing I was disappointed in was the fitness center as it is extremely small. On the day of our arrival we got to check in early at 11AM which was perfect because we were beat from our flight. We were able to drop our luggage whenever we needed to just for a simple tipping service. We also did this on the day of check out because our flight wasn't until 10pm! Jules, our bellman was excellent! AC in rooms stayed cold, maids cleaned very thoroughly and we always felt safe here. They even exchanged our shower head without being asked to a better one. Would definitely stay again. Book early to avoid extra high cost at this hotel is right in Times Square.

Great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Times SquarePosted Aug 20, 2015
Pros: I liked the hotel's location and the lighted mirror in the bathroom, the most. I also liked the large flat screen TV and quiet flush toilet.
Cons: The air conditioner was noisy, but not enough for us to request another room.
Location: The hotel is on 8th Av btw 48th & 49th, close to theaters, subway, Times Square, many restaurants and 10 blocks from Central Park. Great central spot.
The Hilton Garden Inn Times Square is in an excellent location in the heart of the Theater District and steps from the neon lights of Times Square. Our room (1420) faced 8th Ave with a distant view of the Hudson River. 8th Ave is very busy with traffic and there is a nearby fire station but being on the 14th floor minimalized the noise below. (Note: Odd numbered rooms are quiet but face a brick bldg.) We checked in early (before 3pm) and the desk clerk Ernest was very friendly checking us in, giving us vouchers for the restaurant (Pigalle) attached to the hotel. Pigalle has an a good breakfast buffet and the vouchers came in handy. The hotel is close to all the theaters, Times Square, the subway, Central Park, and all types of places to eat. Other than a somewhat noisy air conditioner, our room was good. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and will refer it to friends.

I'm a Hilton fan but this was better than expectedPosted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: The staff was amazingly nice. The maid knew who we were after only two days in the hotel and was very personable and friendly.
Cons: The bed was very comfortable, the staff was nice, it was a great stay. I don't think anything could be improved.
Location: Major sights (Times Square, Broadway, Central Park) are all walking distance with a pair of comfortable shoes.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was centrally located with easy walking to a variety of NY sights, but far enough away that it was relaxed and quiet. Subway stations are all within a block and will get you anywhere in the city for $3 and while I wouldn't suggest doing this with a heavy suitcase in tow, it's possible to walk from Penn Station (a major transport hub) to the hotel. Free Internet access, a quiet and comfortable room, accommodating staff and a good location all made this hotel awesome for our 4 night stay.

Sight seeing vacationPosted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: This hotel is very convenient to all points of interest.
Cons: More storage and an extra chair would be nice.
Location: Times Square, Theatre, shopping and close to the pier for cruises
We stayed in this hotel about 11 years ago during that time some renovations were going on. It was nice to come back and see how they turned out. The hotel staff was great then and now. The Hotel was very nice and clean.
