Old, run down, dirty.

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: The location was very convenient to JFK airport.
Cons: Spend a little extra money to achieve the "normal" Hilton standard.
Location: We stayed here because it was close the airport. Dropping off the rental car was quick and easy. Very convenient location.
Check in was fine. Walking to the room there was trash in the hallway. Housekeeping walked by without picking it up. Outside our room there were used paper coffee cups. We opened the door to our on-smoking room and were hit by the smell of cigarettes, especially in the bathroom. We informed the front desk on the way out to dinner and they said they would tell housekeeping returning over an hour later the room still smelled like smoke. In addition, the mattress and pillows were old and very soft. There were no amenities in th bathroom aside from the basics like soap and hair products. On the plus side, Check out was a breeze and very fast.

Lovely and convenient for stop before flight from

Posted Aug 14, 2015
Pros: Location
Location: Location - visit Queens for a multicultural experience - Sybils for west indian - Guyanese food.
JFK. The shuttle driver on 8 a.m. on Tuesday 11 August so helpful as it was pelting down with rain he helped all passengers to disembark without getting a drenching. He told each person to go stand in the shelter and he would bring luggage to shelter thus avoiding us getting wet.

Close to JFK and offer free shuttle service

Posted Aug 13, 2015
Pros: as noted above
Cons: When booking with Expedia, they will not honor membership therefore we don't get points
Location: Didn't go out, checked in after cancelled flight and stayed in hotel
Our flight was cancelled so we were in a pinch to find a hotel for the night. Many hotels didn't offer shuttle to and from the airport so this was the big plus for us. It's a nice hotel and the staff was very nice as well. The restaurant was surprising very good! We had dinner that evening and the food and service was wonderful.

Hotel mit Pool

Posted Aug 9, 2015

Posted Aug 6, 2015
Booked hotel over a month in advance and asked for a baby crib in the room. Called to remind them of the crib two days prior to arrival and again while at JFK. To our surprise, no cribs available at check in and no effort on trying to obtain one. As a Hilton diamond member I was not treated as such.

Perfect JFK layover sleep place

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: Ease of transport to JFK and VERY nice room!
Location: Neighborhood surrounding is rough. Cab ride was polite if a little rough around the edges when it came to road etiquette and conflict with motorists.
A 24 hour shuttle on half hour cycles, this place was THE perfect choice to sleep and then catch a morning flight from JFK. The room was extremely comfortable, staff was quite helpful. The neighborhood is NOT a place to go for a walk or a jog, regardless of race, gender, etc. Take a cab to the Jamaica train station and jump the Long Island Railroad (it is essentially a part of the subway system) for about $8.00 per person and take the direct train to Penn station if you want to see Manhattan or catch a show. Return trip can be booked on the kiosk and there is staff at the station to help. Final answer: I will make this hotel my regular rest stop for any night before I fly out of JFK from now on.

Nice comfortable beds.

Check in was very fast and easy. The front desk was very polite and we had small talk. I felt very welcomed and comfortable during my stay. The renovation is lovely.

The hotel was fine, but expensive.

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Cons: Transportation from the airport. Going back to the airport not a problem.
It took a VERY LONG time for the shuttle to arrive at the airport for pickup. I called twice. Other hotel shuttles came and went 2-3 times before Hilton arrived and the hotel is close by. Not good when you are arriving at night and tired!

No Free Wi-Fi

Posted Jul 13, 2015
The hotel is nice but I was disappointed that it didn't have free wi-fi.
