The best part about my experience was the staff- they were very accommodating, polite and attentive. Parking was good. Sheets and bathroom were clean. However, the carpet in the room was dirty, all the furniture was beat up and old, they forgot to put a garbage can in the room, and the room was really tight for 3 people at over $300/night. Was ok for a single night’s stay as it was within walking distance of the NYC half marathon starting area.

Staff had a indifferent attitude, not willing to go out of their way to help you. Booked 2 queens on a high floor, received 2 double beds on floor 8.You have to pay 3 USD for a bottled water, which in most hotels is complementary. Restrooms/washrooms in lobby were not clean. Poor first impressions.Toilet seat was loose in room, I reported it, staff didn't care. Room was not ready, and cleaning staff didn't clean room until very late in the afternoon. Seemed unwilling to accommodate any request with urgency.

The hotel was sufficient. I decided to stay due to the fact that my building is under construction and I needed to get away for a few days to get some peace and quiet. The construction starts at 8:30 am and stops at 5:00 pm. I am a retiree and I am home during the day. I mentioned this when I checked in, but the representative put me in a room facing construction. Luckily, I was able to change to another room the next day which was facing the VN Bridge (nice view). The fridge in both rooms was very noisy. I am a light sleeper and it was hard getting a good night's sleep.

i enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much! even though i'm below the check-in age i was able to fill out a minor consent form and check-in with no issues. i was only here for a short while and therefore barely interacted with the hotel staff, but i few interactions were great and they were very kind. room was clean and spacious, area was near to a lot of stuff i wanted to check out and had convenient access to the subway station with manhattan-bound trains. would reccomend!
