Standard room will not guarantee two beds.

I had problems with my reservation that was made for a room with two beds (as shown in the expedia listing "one or two beds"). At check in time, big surprise I was told the room didn't have two beds, and the second bed came into the reservation as a special request, that the hotel had no obligation to fulfil. After escalating the issue with the hotel management and one hour on the phone to expedia, a rollover substandard bed was provided. Expedia and the hotel were very helpful to solve the issue, but if you expect two beds to be provided for the standard room I suggest you make a refundable booking, and ring the hotel to get confirmation of the bed arrangements well in advance.
