Nice hotel but noisy areaPosted Nov 27, 2015
Cons: Noise level from outside
Location: Great location for UWS. Near Museum of Natural History, Lincoln Center and subway.
Positives: Room was spacious and very nicely decorated. Lobby was impressive and staff were great! Valet parking for a reasonable price based on location. Negatives: Shower pressure was weak and bed was on the hard side. Old windows so you heard every noise outside.

Nice Hotel for business travelers and couplesPosted Nov 24, 2015
The room was nicely set and with decent space to stay in for a few days.It was odd to find no shelves to put clothes anywhere. The shower had a plumbing issue, unfortunately i didnt have the time to report it, but the worst thing is that in 4 days they havent changed the sheets not even once, they made the bed but never changed the sheets. Overall the Hotel wasnt bad to stay in within a really nice area and 2 min from the 79th Subway station.

Pros: Location and staff
We had a very nice stay. Staff was very nice. The man serving coffee in the morning was really great. The hotel is just a little older. It was a great place to stay.

Perfect location.Posted Nov 23, 2015
Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was excellent. Biggest drawback was noise coming in from the window. Didn't sleep much. But we still had a great time and will come again.

Badly Installed AC Unit Left Window OpenPosted Nov 21, 2015
Tried to check in at 3:15 PM and was told I had to wait 30 minutes for my city view room to be ready. Was given the option to change to a non-city view room but no mention of cost adjustment. Checked into the city view room 30 minutes later and was told the room was ready but still needed to be inspected. Finally got into the room an hour later and a badly installed AC unit left the window open, making it sound like you were standing outside. Eventually moved into another room that for some reason was too hot despite the heater being unplugged. Shower dial falls off and finding the hidden segment to align it for hot water showers was non-trivial to find. Overall just a substandard experience. Would not recommend this hotel.

Pratique, Calme, Confortable, ProprePosted Nov 13, 2015

Great location, excellent staff!Posted Nov 12, 2015
Pros: Clean, excellent staff, great location, hot chocolate and tea always available in lobby.
Cons: Educate guests on how to use the heater.
Location: Many shops, restaurants and about 10 blocks from Zara and Apple Store.
Yes, the hotel is old but I think some people (me) will actually like it because it keeps the New York essence. I was in the 9th floor with a queen bed and it was clean as one could expect. It has a great location with lots of shops, restaurants and Central Park. Staff was 5 stars, price per night was reasonable and overall I would definitely recommend.

Upper West Side Lovely Boutique HotelPosted Nov 4, 2015
Awesome, 2 blocks from subway station so we could easily go anywhere in the city and very close to Central Park. Hotel staff was friendly. Room was always clean. The only reason I don't give 5 points is because it was very very cold at nights and staff told us it was not possible to turn the radiator on, luckly there were extra blankets inroom. Courtesy drinks on the lobby. Hotel has no restaurant, just a tiny cafe service in the lobby (cafe & bread) For an affordable breakfast/brunch, lunch or dinner I reccomend Viand Cafe (on the corner of 75th & Broadway) and also near the hotel are Shake Shak and Grand Sichuan 74 (great dumplings). Also the hotel is away from the crazyness on 5th avenue.. you can go to the same stores on the upper west side (just take subway to Lincoln Center and voilá)
