Close to transportation. I had an unpleasant encounter on the phone at the outset when making the reservation. This continued when I arrived at the hotel. However, on my departure the manager and I had an heart to heart conversation and everything ended amicably.

I cannot say thank you enough to the staff who were amazing! We were shocked by the level of customer service at this establishment. The rooms were clean and bed bug-free (we checked thoroughly as we are very paranoid) a very close walk to the subway and all in all a fantastic hotel to stay at. For the price and the quality, it is definitely a hotel I will be recommending.

An excellent stay for one person in a small room. Check-in was excellent with friendly reception and handouts of restaurants in the area. Second floor room was totally quiet because of multi-layered soundproof windows. Large bathroom with good shower. Also a cup containing supplies such as comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap. Nice details: a bedside charging station and a remote control to turn off the overhead light and the fan. Easy ten-minute walk to the intersection of Bayard and Mott, sort of the heart of Chinatown. Checkout at noon, and they will hold your bags if you want to spend more time in the area. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed the location and the cleanliness of the room but I was disappointed that there was a thermostat or fan in the room as it was very hot at night. The staff however was very friendly and accommodating
