Didn't Stay

Posted May 5, 2017
After a pretty bad travel day, we decided not to stay there because no parking and very incomplete directions to the nearest parking garage--which would cost an additional fee. Couldn't find a spot on the street. Why couldn't they put this in the hotel description. Why not even hand out a little map to the garage. Couldn't get back our fee.

Don't stay here

This hotel has horrible staff. Management seems to have a nasty attitude. No more free breakfast unless to book with them directly. Rooms are tiny. The view is horrible.

Nice hotel but very disappointed they did not bother to put shades under the red curtains...so light from the hotel across the street would come in at night...not right!

6 stations away to Manhattan, close to 39 ave sub

Posted Feb 12, 2017 on Hotels
If you travel from JFK airport to the hotel take AirTrain to Jamaica station (you will have to pay at teh end station 5 usd + new card fee 1 usd) then take subway line E (blue) from **Suphin Blv - Jamaia station** to **Queen Plaza station** (on 41 ave) and walk 2 blocks to 39th ave. You will find the hotel just 200 metre far from the corner of 39th ave. When you wanna go to Manhattan from the hotel, u will find the nearest subway which is **39th ave station** (yellow line, R Q N) just 200 metre away

No problems!

Posted Feb 6, 2017 on Hotels
No problems! A few things to note: - The walls aren't the thickest (we could hear another person's alarm clock going off in the morning and a loud family with children from far down the hall), but the room was spacious (an executive suite queen) with lots of light and a balcony. - The water pressure was awesome and very hot water that lasted a long time. Conditioner isn't included, although shampoo and soap are. - Checking in and out was super easy! - The location is very safe yet not secluded. - The continental breakfast is not worth it unless it's included in your reservation. It's too expensive with too few offerings when there's so much available just outside of the hotel doors. - I loved that there wasn't a carpet and the sheets smelled clean.
