The staff was friendly. 1 free drink per room per night stayed. Hotel was clean. Small rooms w/ low beds but comfortable. Restaurant/bar on site. 7 minutes from MSG. Park Ave was 2 blocks away. Many Asian restaurants being in Korea town. Many subway stations in a 5-10 minute walking radius.

Stopped by for a night the staff was friendly, the bartender was real cool, the check in and out was nice and smooth. I received 3 free drinks 2 chilled bottles of water was waiting on me in the room it was perfect timing also I got a token for a free soda but you can get a glass of champagne but I am not much of a drinker. Over all the place was clean and it had a real chill vibe some of these hotels stays can be quite iffy in New York but at least here there was a sincere effort to make a good impression.

The room was extremely hot. The air conditioner setting only went down to 66 degrees and the room was uncomfortably hot. Very friendly staff and a maintenance worker even came to the room to try and rectify the situation but was unsuccessful. Very disappointed that I spent almost $400 for a one night stay and barely got any sleep if any. Again, the staff was great and the property was clean and well kept but the issue with the room temperature was very disappointing.

The hotel was very clean and all areas were attractive. The food was great in the hotel restaurant. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. There was a young woman working Saturday morning (March 2) who was particularly friendly and helpful but do not know what her name was. She was awesome! My stay there was excellent. Thank you!

So, this is the first of 3 reviews for our stays. This is the first so I will try to let go of all of the negative and be more positive as the trip goes on. All staff has been extremely friendly and nice. Housekeeping is excellent!!! Bartenders Mo and Janelle are a joy and so friendly!! Front desk has been super sweet, but obviously don't listen or don't care in certain instances, so not sure what happened to mess up our reservations - not once, not twice, but 3 separate times. And another 1/2 mess-up. All was fixed, but it was not a complicated issue. It should not have taken so much time, so many times nor should any computer in 2024 be that slow. Elevators were a problem. Needing a key for the lobby bathroom was annoying. No food and beverage between 11am and 5pm. No room service. Will not allow Uber eats or any delivery to come to your door. You MUST wait on the ridiculously slow elevators to come down and get your food yourself. Had I know , I would have just walked to get food rather than pay delivery fees and a large tip. Poción is under the guise of "safety" but let's get real...if that was the case, have one of the hotel staff milling about bring it up. Again, this probably would not have annoyed me so much if we hadn't already had issues. They are generous with the bottled water - $30 worth a day for that resort fee....

Great property, and super cozy room with only 8 rooms per floor. Only issue was “sounds” that would travel through air return ducts between rooms. Could hear your neighbours like they were in your bed beside you at times. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. A good quiet neighbour would have made it a 5/5 stay.

Great location and QUIET!!
This was my second stay at Hyatt Herald Sq. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bed was so comfortable, great price point. I also want to add that this hotel is quiet. New York has traffic at all hours and police/ambulance sirens in the middle of the night. Here, I didn’t hear a thing.

This was a decent hotel except for one MAJOR issue, there was an animal in the ceiling of our room scurrying around on two evenings. It was loud enough that we recorded it on our cell phone. Unfortunately the hotel was sold out the first night so we couldn't move rooms, and had to sleep with the lights on, so was not a good night, my daughter was petrified. The second night when it happened again they moved us. Contacted manager after we returned home but she didn't seem to care, so I assume its a common/known problem. Awaiting further response, but its been days...

Great location but thin walls.
Great location and hotel is clean. The only negative comment: walls are thin so we can hear the noise in the corridors, the discussions in the room next door. It is pretty intense.
