    Clean and a great price

The host was very acomdating, a brownstone in a nice neighborhood in Brooklyn. Facilities were clean and you cant beat the price. Parking is on the street so if u arrive late u may be parking a block or 2 away.

George Gittens was an excellent host and he bought us breakfast. He is a health expert and vegan chef. The building is a Brooklyn Brownstone built in 1931. It has many original details and characteristics still intact. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The property is in the Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn which is a very safe and sought after neighborhood. There are many restaurants and tourist attractions nearby. George Gittens is a historian of the neighborhood and has lived there all of his life. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Brooklyn.

George Gittens, a vegan chef and holistic health consultant is an very accommodating host. Make sure to ask him for his GET WELL CD. He paid for my breakfast and he knows the area very well and was able to inform me about different venues in the area. The house was built in 1931 and still has its architectural features still intact. It's comfortable and clean. The neighborhood is very safe with great restaurants and multiple tourist attractions. It is near trains which gives you easy access to Manhattan.

They claim to be a "Bed and Breakfast," but they are not, at least not in the traditional sense. What you are doing by staying here is renting a room in a rooming house/flop house. (If you want breakfast you are emailed a link to where you can order takeout from a local bagel shop...) But what really ruined our experience was an extraordinarily loud, intrusive "church party" (we were told) taking place on the first floor, directly beneath our room. Despite multiple calls to the proprietor the loud music, (complete with thumping bass lines that shook our room floor, walls and furniture), slamming doors and shrieking guests went on until well past midnight. Completely unacceptable. I have never had a worse night in any hotel I have ever stayed in. At one point we discussed just packing everything back up and leaving in the middle of the night. Avoid at any cost. You have been warned!

      Cozy, clean and great location.

I really liked the location and the room. Everything was cozy and we got a call every morning to see if we needed anything. The only thing I would change is how the shower worked... You had to finagle with it to get the right temperature.
