Newly Renovated

Pros: I liked my room and the breakfast dining room.
Cons: One improvement would be the cleanliness of the bar/restaurant.
Location: Location to the airport is perfect BUT it is very difficult to find!
The La Guardia Plaza has been newly renovated. The work is not yet complete but what they have done is very nice...fresh and pleasing to the eye. The room that I stayed in on the sixth floor had just been finished and it couldn't have been nicer.

Pros: The staff. Good people.
Cons: Would like free breakfast.
Location: It's close to La Guardia Airport and great for going into Manhattan.
Enjoyed my stay there very much. The staff was very helpful. They planned my trip into Manhattan with great detail. Enjoyed riding the subway for the first time after the detailed information they gave. Hotel restaurant is a good place to eat. Breakfast is very good, but it was an extra charge for me. It's great to have the shuttle from the airport to hotel and back to airport or to take you to subway station. I would stay there again.

Weekend in New York

I enjoyed our stay at La Guardia Plaza. The room was lovely and clean. The shuttle service to the airport and to the subway as well as to the Diner was awesome service. The staff were very courteous and helpful. I would have wanted better food at the hotel but there was a Diner close by that offered good food for less. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this hotel.

There was a staff member named Paul who was very kind and helpful to me and my family. He helped us get around NYC much easier. There should be more "Pauls" around.

I paid for 2 full breakfasts, and my husband checked us in. When we went to breakfast server asked for vouchers. Husband went to front desk while I waited at our table and front desk said it's not included. I had to leave my table in embarrassment, and go up to our room to show them my receipt that said "Includes full breakfast for 2." No apologies from the staff - they just handed us our vouchers. They need some training on customer service.
