This hotel is a ripoff.

The room rates, the parking rates, the misc. fees are all a ripoff. They will put a block on your credit card for $50 per day over all the other paid fees. The block will last for over 10 days.

As in every city, certain times of the year are busier and command higher rates, however, we definitely make every effort to be priced competitively with comparable hotels in our area. Additionally, we're sorry our team did not provide you with a clear explanation of the charges during the check-in process. The $50 is a temporary hold to cover any incidentals, in the event you incur any during your stay. If no incidental charges were incurred, the hold is released and becomes available again in your personal account. This process may take up to one week; however, most banks will release the hold as quickly as a few days after your checkout. Great stay with free shuttle!

Pros: Friendly staff, relaxing restaurant bar area, comfortable spacious rooms.
The rooms and staff were wonderful! The restaurant bar area was a welcome place to relax and eat without having to leave the property as we were flying home the next day. The free shuttle was on time and our shuttle driver was courteous. We would highly recommend this property!

Disgusting

Pros: Checking out
Cons: The rooms, environment, and cleanliness.
Not kid friendly when you have a ton of drunks in the lobby and outside of hotel with coolers getting drunk. We were supposed to get a one bed they put is in a two bed and after we asked what happened they said and I quote "oh well we have no more" The restaurant is over priced $18 for nachos and served cold-their excuse "Nachos are supposed to be cold" the staff cares none at all about being pleasant with your stay. The room was disgusting and outdated (bring a can of Lysol before staying) and don't bother complaining to staff-they could care less.

Good hotel for overnight stay for an eary morning

Pros: ease of booking and of departure. Good value for money
Cons: everything was very good for me. I would have preferred a dining room for an evening meal rather than the noisy bar

Travelled to NYC for Mets Baseball

Pros: Its proximity to CitiField, the size of the rooms and beds, the modern shower and bathrooms, and the shuttle service.
Cons: It would be nice if the shuttle service would offer return trips from Citi Field back to the hotel - at least on game nights.
Location: Mets games; US National Tennis Training Centre; Queens Science Centre and Zoo; one subway stop away from Queens (Flushing China Town)
Great experience. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Michael O'Brian was especially helpful and informative at the concierge desk. Great value for the size of room and overall amenities. You do have to be prepared to ride the subway to get to the city, however the hotel offers shuttle service that works well that drops you off right at the subway station. And on weekdays you can grab an Express 7 train which makes the trip into the city not bad at all. For baseball fans, it is super convenient as the shuttle drops you off right at Citi Field. Overall if you are looking for clean, good value, and safe and quiet hotel this is a good option for you. It's not for somebody who wants to be right in the centre of the action in New York but for those like myself who just want a comfortable place to crash at night after the Mets game or following a hectic day in the city, it is perfect. That being said, one subway stop away is Flushing (Queens) China Town and the intersection by the subway is apparently the third busiest one in NYC (after Times Square and Herald Square).

Very nice hotel

Expedia showed pictures of their premium room however that is not what I received upon check in. When I explained to the front desk I needed a room with double beds and the room received is not what was shown online they quickly provided me with a new room which was perfect. I had to pay $30 for the upgrade but it was worth it. The room was amazing and comfortable.

Nice place, no hassles, convenient to La Guardia. It took 10 minutes for the shuttle to get me to the airport in the morning.

Hotel close to the airport, with shuttle & luggage

Hotel close to the airport, with shuttle to/from airport, shuttle to the subway, & luggage storage. We only stayed one night but hotel was accommodating, friendly, and helpful!
