Great hotel and location for Central Park areaPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Lovely hotel, friendly staff and small enough to care about you.
Cons: Could do with facilities in the room to make a coffee etc.
Location: Great for walking to Central Park (5 mins), main shopping areas on 5th Avenue, Madison and Park Avenues.
Spent a week in New York and stayed at this hotel. Great location for access to main NY attractions. Excellent restaurant although a bit on the pricey side.

Stay here forget the restPosted Sep 12, 2015
If you are like we were, first time visitors scouring hotel reviews to try and find a good hotel, look no further. Yes the Loews may be a little more expensive than your average hotel but if you can afford it, it's worth it. NYC hotels are notorious for having small rooms whereas the Loews has beautiful big rooms with EXTREMELY comfy and big beds. The hotel is quiet yet very well located as it sits along the Green line which will take you to all the places you want to go in NYC. You are also only 5 mins walk from 5th avenue and shopping heaven as well as 5 mins from Bloomingdales and a tonne of great food places and wine bars / beer houses. The hotel has decent complimentary wifi for 3 devices and offers free newspapers delivered to your door each morning and free turn down service with complimentary water and cookies. The only negative I can really give is that room service didn't seem to be able to get that there was 2 people staying in our room. They kept bringing only 1 bottle of water and 1 cookie as well as forgetting to top up the cotton buds and pads a couple of times but apart from that they were great. Final note is that there is no coffee facilities in the room, you have to ask reception to bring one up for you but I guess that's minimal.

Plush, wonderful servicePosted Sep 10, 2015
Pros: Decor, staff, spacious rooms and location
Location: Close to Central Park, 5th Ave, Times Square. There are diners a couple of blocks away, Gene's and Palace restaurant both excellent for breakfast.
From the minute we checked in, Abiola was very professional and welcoming to the day we left we had 5* treatment. My husband asked for a room with a Park Ave view as it was a special birthday for me, the room was big, beautiful and everything we could ask for with a stunning view. The first night the hotel sent me a bottle of wine and birthday cake, what a wonderful touch. Every day we came back from sightseeing the staff would be very pleasant and remember us by name. Even the doorman were very pleasant. The hotel has a courtesy car which took us to Times Square, which was a great help especially on the first day when we didn't know our way around. The concierge, Ela was fantastic, so friendly and helpful. We received vouchers for Top of the Rock, Bloomingdales and the coffee shop around the corner. The hotel is within walking distance to Central Park, 5th Ave, Times Square and Bloomingdales is on the next street. I can't recommend this hotel enough and we'll be back hopefully in the near future.

Location: THE LOCATION IS GOOD..
I STAYED THIS HOTEL WITH MY FAMILIES ,ONE ROOM FOR 12 DAYS,ANOTHER ROOM FOR 16 DAYS. FIRST ONE WEEK WAS OKAY BUT FIRE ALRAM RANG SO LOUDLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.2AM IT HAPPENED THREE TIMES WHILE I STAYED,THEY DEDUCTED $200 IN ROOM ACCOMMODATION WHEN I CHECK OUT IN THE MORNING ON AUGUST 26 BUT HOTEL STAFF IN THE FRONT DESK, SHE WAS VERY INHOSPITABLE WHEN CHECK OUT. MAYBE SHE EXPECTS THEY DONT NEED TO APOLOGY AT ALL AS SHE CHARGE BACK $200 IT`S RIDICUOUS I COULD NOT SLEEP ONE NIGHT AT ALL EVEN I PAID ALMOST $10,000 FOR ACCOMMODATION,200 IS NOTHING SPECIAL. I JUST EXPECTING THEIR SINCERITY FOR SUCH A UNEXPECTED TROUBLE... MOREOVER, THEY CHRGE ME MINI BAR,DINNER IN HOTEL RESTAURANT WHICH I DID NOT USE. ALL GUESTS FOR THIS HOTEL MUST CHECK THEIR INFORMATION INVOICE ONE BY ONE HOWEVER IT MIGHT BE HAPPEN FROM TIME TO TIME EVERY HOTEL,I UNDERSTAND BUT IT WAS AN UNFORGETTABLE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I HAVE NEVER MET SUCH A UNKIND HOTEL STAFF IN MY LIFE, SHE MADE ME EASILY ITS MY LAST STAY IN LOEWS REGENCY.

Modern bright hotel in great locationPosted Sep 1, 2015
Excellent clean hotel with fantastic staff: we were particularly impressed by the concierges, particularly Ella, who was charming and extremely helpful. A couple of minor gripes: air conditioning was inefficient and very noisy. Also there was a limit of three devices per room for the free wifi access which was extremely unhelpful as we were a family of four.

It was a little disappointingPosted Aug 31, 2015
Cons: Staff attitude.
Location: Great. Good shopping, museums and Central Park all nearby.
Great location near 5th avenue and a great place for shopping. Staff appeared unmotivated, didn't go the extra mile and several items from our room went missing . The Gym was very good and empty but there wasn't much to do in the hotel apart from this. Overall atmosphere cold.
