I checked in late and the security guard had to call down the manager, who turned out to be a college-aged girl staying in the RA's room. I waited for 5 min. on the couch in the lobby for her to come down, which was annoying. However, she was very nice and friendly and gave me my key, a quick run-down of how things work, a pillowcase and sheets. I didn't have a pillow so again I had to ask the security guard to call the manager down. Later when I went into my room there was another woman who claimed I had taken her bed. I showed her my key with my room number and bed number on it but she had the same one. She was very displeased by the miscommunication so again we had to go to security guard and ask for the manager lady to come down. She didn't explain how we ended up being assigned the same bed in a three person room (both other beds were also occupied), and her solution was to move the third person's stuff from their bed to make room for me. Apparently that third person had called after I checked in to say that she wouldn't be back for the next two nights, but that doesn't explain what the manager expected us to do when the previous occupant whose bed I took came back. The problem needed to be addressed as soon as the manager received the phone call or even before I was given a key to a bed and room that someone else also had. Also, the AC didn't work and leaked from ceiling.
