Perfect location

Posted Feb 2, 2016
Pros: Location! Friendly and informative staff.
Cons: Couple of light covers were missing with exposed wiring in the hall.
Location: Central Park, Time Square, 5th Av, Rockefeller, Empire State, Loads of Starbucks and Pret and restaurants.
Stayed for 4 nights as a birthday surprise for my wife. Friendly staff, even got a free upgrade, clean rooms and the location is perfect. 10 minute walk to Central Park and Time Square, next to 5th Av, walking distance to the Rock and Empire State and also loads of restaurants and places for lunch. Superb!

Great hotel in the middle of all the NYC action!

Posted Feb 2, 2016
Pros: Centrally located, nice size rooms, clean, friendly people
Cons: Not a thing
Location: We enjoyed eating out, Central Park, Times Square and much more. It was perfect.
We had a perfect stay. Everyone was so friendly and the hotel was so centrally located to restaurants and attractions - especially Central Park. It is great to stay at a place where you can enjoy open space on one side and have all the action of the city on the other side.

at the very City Center - great for sightseeing

Posted Feb 2, 2016
Pros: located in the very Center Close to main attractions and metro
Cons: friendliness and courtesy of staff
I was very disappointed as this Hotel definitely does not meet a 4 star standard. Staff was not very friendly or knowledgeable. It started when I arrived - nobody helped with the luggage. I had booked a queen size bedroom but when I entered the room it was a double bed room. So I had to walk back all the way down to the reception and asked for the room that I had booked for. Their answer was "but in our system this room is a queen bedroom". Next day I made the huge mistake to book a ticket for a Broadway Show through the Hotel desk - instead of $ 100 for the original ticket price they charged $ 160 but told me that I would get back my money when I attend a presentation for the Hilton Honors Program. As I had to check out at 5 am I asked for the bill the night before. They told me that I will have it in my room before I leave, what did not happen. And then I asked for a taxi to the Airport. The bell Boy got me a taxi that cost as twice as much as the taxi that I took from the Airport to the Hotel. Upon asking if this would be a regular taxi and why it's so expensive he would not reply. I have been to many places around the world so I have a good comparison. At this place hardly anyone makes you feel as a guest or seems to be inspired in giving you a nice experience.

Close to theaters,shopping and enterainment.

Posted Feb 1, 2016
Pros: The hotel - safe and located close to entertainment of all types. The hotel staff - helpful and friendly. The room - clean and the bed comfortable.
Cons: Although a refrigerator could be requested, it would have been nice to have been equipped with a refrigerator.
Location: Centrally located within walking distance of theaters, restaurants, shopping and popular sightseeing attractions.
The hotel is centrally located within blocks of theaters, restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. And, if you happen to be grounded due to weather conditions (Jonas), you can enjoy food, deserts and drinks from their (on property) restaurant, bars or desert counter. I would especially recommend the pizza. The taste, texture, crunch and blend of spices are excellent. And you should try one or some of their various types of cheesecakes.

Nice hotel

Posted Feb 1, 2016
Considering that this hotel is in the middle of everything in nyc and it it gets very busy I was still surprised at how clean and quiet the rooms remained. Was also please with their breakfast option .....meaning no long lines for breakfast. They gave me a nice oral b toothbrush too since I forgot mine. Only thing that irked me was that their were no ear buds available or offered at the front desk and no effort to get them for my friend due to my horrible snoring......rough night due to that inconvenience.

Great location in Midtown!

Posted Feb 1, 2016
Due to hotel renovations, the elevators were horrible! There were only 2 working elevators to our floor and a ton of guests trying to get to those floors. We had to take the other set of elevators that took us 2 floors up and then take the stairs down the 2 floors.
