Pros: Good price, clean and comfortable. All the necessary amenities. Hotel seems aimed at young people. We are (young) seniors and felt comfortable.
Efficient room and location. Lots restaurants nearby. Easy to get to airport and around Manhattan by transit.

Great Low Cost Hotel on New York's East Side

Posted Feb 7, 2016
Rooms are very small but comfortable. We have stayed in the Queen and also Bunk Bed rooms. Both were great. Privacy in bathrooms may be an issue for some, but we were fine with them! Great location near Grand Central Station.

You saw the pictures of bunk beds before booking so lower your standards and don't go expecting a room fit for a king. Nevertheless, it's a clean and comfy place to wash up and lay one's head after a hectic day in the city. You really do wake up feeling refreshed. It's away from the maddening crowds, but still convenient and easy access to the city.

Zentrales junges Hotel

Posted Feb 7, 2016

Excellent for 1

Posted Feb 4, 2016
The room was small - I booked an individual room with a single bed. However there was room for my luggage (2 bags) a comfortable bed and a desk and chair. The bathroom is almost as large as the rest of the room and modern. The room was scrupulously clean. The only fault with the hotel is it is not very quiet. It definitely has thin walls! Plus being New York there'll always be plenty of sirens outside which do filter in. That said given the size of the rooms its the sort of place you are only going to be using it to sleep and it was quieter at night. Location is fine. 5 minutes walk from Grand Central, which is also the nearest subway station. 10 minutes from the Empire State Building.

Small Scale Perfection

Posted Feb 4, 2016
Pros: The rooms were very clean, bathrooms immaculate, and the staff very friendly.
Cons: Do not disturb signs for the doors would be useful.
Location: Subways were close, lots of options for food, convenient for all sorts in midtown.
Go in expecting just enough room for a bed, and you will love it! I had space to work at the desk, the bathroom was sleek and very clean, and my bed was perfectly comfortable. Don't let the loud lobby fool you- the rooms are very quiet. I can't wait to return.

Boutique hôtel close to GCT and Airporter Bus.

Posted Feb 3, 2016
Pros: design was outstanding and location excellent.
Cons: Keep the rates affordable so I can come back.
Location: Being central in Manhattan made the whole island easy to visit since Grand Central Terminal is the hub and three blocks away.
Room was neat, quiet and efficient with great shower. Loved the lobby with concierge, bar and lounge. It was the perfect place to hang out and play ping-pong or Scrabble during the epic storm in January. Loved the affordable rates and warm staff too. Thanks to all!

Lively hotel near Grand Central

Posted Feb 3, 2016
Pros: Salvation Taco is a great buzzy restaurant/bar.
Cons: A little more breakfast selection.
Location: Very convenient to Grand Central and therefore most of New York.
The Pod hotels offer small rooms like being in a stateroom on a boat. But for a simple stay they are more than adequate, and the hotel is full of young people from all over.

マンハッタンの中心地にあるおしゃれなホテル

Posted Feb 2, 2016
Pros: 立地、内装
Cons:

Very Nice Manhattan Hotel

Posted Feb 2, 2016
Pros: Location, cleanliness, comfort, helpful staff (Front Desk and Concierge), affordable airport shuttle service.
Cons: Larger televisions in the queen pods.
Location: Besides the in-hotel restaurant, there's a plethora of food choices (breakfast/lunch/dinner) within a 5 minute walk from the Pod 39 front door.
Hotel was perfectly located (E. 39th); close enough to all the shopping, dining and Times Square, but was still quiet and relaxing. Room set up (we had queen and bunk pods) was modern, stylish and comfortably functional. Hotel and rooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Front desk staff and Concierge were extremely helpful from check-in to check-out during our weekend stay.
