Got there 3:00 for 7:00 wedding ( which they did a great job) and couldn’t get a drink or a bite to eat. Will definitely cause me to think twice about staying at any Wyndham property.

Ravel states on their website there is a pool. When we wanted to use it with our 5 year old we were informed it was only for a ‘summer club’ for ages over 21. We were told our 5 year old could use it from noon to 5 but were later told we couldn’t use it at all because it was booked for a party. This is not acceptable. They should change their website to take the pool off or designate hours for hotel guests.

Rude front desk staff. Horrible room; view of bars on the window and an empty lot. We booked the stay because it was advertised as having a pool on Expedia and wanted to bring our 2 year old. Nowhere does it say the pool is 21 at all times and only available for club/pool parties. It was a complete waste of time. Additionally, it’s noisy all day and night; we could hear doors slamming and cars and people outside. The area around the hotel is dirty and just a bunch of warehouses; nothing interesting to walk to. Will not stay again.

The staff was very unfriendly, and the service was poor. We had to stay all night in a smoking room with an infant, even though we had reserved a non-smoking room. My second baby has allergies. No compensation or discount was offered. They offered us the option to cancel our existing reservation at 1:30 am ( after us driving for 5hours) and check out in the middle of the night with two kids. We will never come back again. Terrible experience.

Room was open concept so there was no privacy for the bathroom which is not ideal if traveling with someone who is not your significant other. The rooms were fairly soundproof and the view of the city skyline and the Queensboro Bridge were amazing. The staff was helpful and check in and check out were easy. The nearest subway stations (Queensboro and Queensbridge and 21st) were approximately 10-12 blocks away.
