No hot water in room. Had to shower with cold water. Room is at basement level with ceiling windows at sidewalk level. Had to call in maintenance for TV. No tea or coffee or mini fridge in room. Some furniture in room were beat up, torn or scratched (in corridors and hallways as well). Breakfast is below basic and seating area had only 4 or 5 tables, so guests had to wait to take turns.
Very close to two subway stations, grocerie stores and coffee shops. Close ride to Manhathan. Good neighborhood. The only downsides is that there is only one elevator so it get super busy and the room has no minibar.
This hotel was close to the train station which was great. We would get to anywhere in Manhattan in less than 10 mins. Only bummer about the hotel is that it only has 1 elevator. But other than that, the rooms were decent and it was located perfect and near to deli’s and good areas.
Bare bones hotel with comfortable rooms located a very short walk from Queensboro Plaza and Queens Plaza subway stations for a very short ride to Manhattan. The rooms are clean if slightly run down. Check the drawers to make sure nothing was left from the previous guests, as was the case in my room. Small breakfast room that only has four tables and limited options for breakfast. Good place to stay if you’re spending most of your time outside the hotel room, and a very good price for a place so close to Manhattan.
