Good for sleeping and locationPosted Nov 22, 2015
We had walked through the very cool lobby on a prior trip so decided to stay here. Location is great, just 2 blocks from Bryant Park MTA. We checked in late and the staff was friendly and efficient. Our room was on the PH level, which I think might be code for renovated top floor storage area. Hallway rug looked like we missed out on a party. Our room was large for NYC, but one of the oddest. Bathroom was large and bed was comfortable. Other than a room service menu, nothing else about hotel or NYC (which we didn't need). The oddest thing... taper candles with matches... seems like a major safety hazard. In the end, the hotel wasn't bad, but with all of the NYC option s, I wouldn't stay here again.

The room was nice and in a fab location.Posted Nov 19, 2015
The thing that completely let this hotel down was that the staff appeared to care a lot more about the bar on the ground floor and those customers, over us who were actually staying there. We were barely spoken to throughout our stay and check in was rushed as the bar was packed (we arrived at 6.30pm); we felt like they wanted us out of the way. Nobody asked how we were, how our journey to NY was or whether we had any questions which is the very least you'd expect just as a matter of courtesy. Cleaner on the other hand was lovely and very attentive as well as the security guards who stand by the doors of the hotel. No one else spoke to us. Location of the hotel is great though, within 5 mins walking distance from Times Square and a stones throw from 5th Avenue. Rooms are a good size-I've heard a lot of rooms in NY are very small. We had a fabulous time and will go back but certainly wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

It was fine.Posted Nov 17, 2015
Pros: When we arrived and departed the staff was very friendly. The pillows were nice.
Cons: Check on your customers once in a while. Offer room service on the weekends and maybe price the room to match the quality and view.
Location: Location was close to Broadway.
The hotel was a bit overpriced for the room quality, looks much better in the pictures. No room service over the weekend was a bit disappointing. Rarely saw the staff, a doorman, never ever saw the concierge. It seemed like the place was almost vacant.

Top Lage, Zimmer und Flur müssten renoviert werdenPosted Nov 10, 2015
Pros: Lobby + Bar
Sehr schöne Lobby und Bar-Bereich. Die Zimmer sind allerdings relativ dunkel und könnten modernisiert werden. Der Flur zu den Zimmern erinnert ein bisschen an Jugendherberge.

Nice hotel close to everything!!Posted Nov 9, 2015
Pros: The lobby and the staff were very helpful with everything.
Cons: No clock in the room. I think all rooms should have clocks
Location: Time square was literally 2 1/2 blocks away. Restaurants, coffee shops, shopping etc. Excellent location and very safe.
The overall experience was great! We had an issue with the air system (room was really hot) and they sent someone right away to fix it. Everyone did an excellent job.

Great hotel in the heart of everything Time SquarePosted Nov 2, 2015
Great hotel, attentive staff and within walking distance to Time Square and the theatre district. One negative was the hotel lighting is somewhat low....a romantic dinner ambience feeling even inside the rooms. Nice look but not sufficient when you want real lighting for makeup and other things. Overall a GREAT hotel.

Patricia, Thank you for the rave review of Royalton and for your feedback on our bathroom lighting. I am glad you found our boutique to be GREAT! We are changing all the bathroom lighting in January based on feedback similar to yours from our guests. We hope to have you back soon and the one small issue resolved for you! Safe travels,

Nice Hotel..but not efficient.Posted Nov 1, 2015
This is a nice boutique hotel. However, they charged a $400 deposit to my Visa Card..and then charged me twice for the room. I'd already paid for my stay with Expedia..and then they charged me again. They actually charged me twice for the room, and they don't seem to know how to handie what they've done. It seems simple enough for me..just issue a refund. Now I have to dispute the charges. Was not a restful stay.
