Quirky boutique gem in midtown east
Posted Oct 1, 2016
Arrived early from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal expecting to wait for our room to be ready and pleasantly, we were able to check in right away. Clientele was mostly couples or young people; we were the only "senior" couple we saw. Room was very clean, and quiet at night. Not large but cosy; comfy bed and nice bathroom, more than adequate for our needs. Probably better suited for couples rather than families based on the size of room we had. Wine store, restaurants, and bank all just steps away. The on line photos of the hotel are accurate; lovely art deco decor. Our return flight home was cancelled on our last day at the Seton; the staff was great; we were able to stay an extra night to accommodate a new flight plan. Very helpful with investigating all our questions about travel alternatives. We booked a car through the Seton to get us to LaGuardia at 4 am for our new flight home; no problem, everything went like clockwork. Very happy with our whole experience. Would absolutely recommend the Seton and we will stay here again. Just loved it.
