Great location in NYCPosted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: The breakfasts, including breakfast to go and week day social hours. Great having kitchen facilities.
Cons: The king bed is a bit big for the room, a queen would be fine. The elevators were slow. Glad we were on a lower floor to walk up and down.
Location: Everything was close, especially if you are walkers!
Most courteous accommodating staff. Helpful, efficient and smiles on their faces! What a plus to feel you are welcomed at the hotel,

Great location, nice staff, pack earplugs!Posted Oct 5, 2015
Pros: The location was great and the staff were friendly. I liked listening out for all the different nationalities staying there - a good mixture.
Cons: The lifts were a problem - very slow. Make sure you've got everything before you leave your room - it's a long wait to go back!
Location: Subway (7 day pass $32)look on Youtube for how to guides - you get to places quicker than if stuck in traffic and so see more sights - well worth it!
PLACES TO EAT - Turn left out of the hotel to 9th Ave and head up the street numbers for the best places at reasonable prices - check out Trip Advisor for reviews. ROOMS - When we arrived our room with a view wasn't ready, "undergoing repairs" so we were put on 3rd floor - it had a bed and we were very tired so we didn't care! Didn't get a good nights sleep as fridge freezer was making loud noise. 2nd night we were put in room on 29th floor - again didn't sleep well due to noise coming from outside, sirens, horns etc throughout the night, it was like the window was open. We didn't have this problem in the previous room so we believe we were on the noisier side of the building and possibly the seal of the window was broken. I ended up sleeping with ear plugs and noise reducing headphones on!! The next morning the staff were very apologetic and moved us back to the other side of the building! Lots of building work going on in the area so you might want to request a room on the quieter side. BREAKFAST - so so, but big tip if you want to avoid the scrum - eat in the "additional seating" area (behind the running water wall) for peace and quiet. They offer proper tables to eat at and there's a quicker toaster and hot breakfast food available in there. IF YOU GET LOST - ask people! I was pleasantly surprised how helpful the New Yorkers were with directions.

Stay in NYPosted Oct 2, 2015
Location: Described as Times Square but actually about 3 blocks away from Times Square.
The hotel was clean and tidy and the reception staff were helpful. The complementary breakfast was good with a choice of fruit, cooked breakfast, cheeses, ham, cereals and assorted breads. We were on the 30th floor with a view of the Empire State. The downside was that it was noisy with lots of door slamming and the room opposite ours had workmen in renovating it which involved hammering and sawing etc. until about 8:30 pm. One evening a member of staff was hoovering the hallway at 10:15 pm. It was about 10 minutes walk from Times Square and there was a lot of construction work going on in the street which made it look a bit tatty, this would probably improve once the construction work is finished.

良心的なホテルPosted Oct 1, 2015

Clean hotel, good staff, terrible location!Posted Sep 29, 2015
Pros: Good room size, good breakfast, very helpful staff.
Cons: Room could do with some tlc.
Location: Very close to Times Square. Not many restaurants close by.
The hotel room was clean and a good size but it was very tired. It could do With a bit of tender, loving care. The staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was very good. The location is terrible. It is right next to the bus terminal and is very noisy. When we were there we had the added noise of roadworks outside our window which were very noisy despite being 9 floors up. The hotel did apologise and it was out of there control. However, there is a parole office in the street and some very unsavoury characters using it which made us feel very uneasy. The street was very dirty and at night there were quite a few people sleeping rough on it. Again this made us feel uneasy.

Lovely hotel, 10mins from times square.Posted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Ideal for first time visitors like us
Ideally located for most areas especially times square, good choice at breakfast maybe a little busy. No negatives for me.
