地下鉄駅に近く便利なホテル

Posted Aug 28, 2015

Generally OK but won't be returning..

Posted Aug 27, 2015
Pros: Convenient location.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Close to many eateries and 5 mins walk to Macy's. Subway stop less than 100m away which was good.
Hotel conveniently situated for mid town shopping however the actual street is a little intimidating at night with a seedy feel to the approach to the hotel. Upon check in for our 6 night stay we were allocated a room which barely had room to navigate around the bed. I requested a change which, whilst granted to a more spacious room, was met with the response "yes it is a very small room that one, I wouldn't want to be in there for more than a night!"...well, that was the same receptionist who booked us in to the small room not 5 minutes prior!! So we got out more spacious room which whilst adequate lacked common amenities such as a fridge or kettle or in fact any drawers for storage! A bed, a desk and a wardrobe was about it. The bathroom was clean and in good condition. Being Brits we were new to the tipping culture of NYC. We tipped various amounts across the week in fact we forgot to one day and the service level did not seem to change at all throughout...that being average to poor. Essentially the daily room service involved making the bed and emptying the bin. The bottled water provided on day one was not replenished at all; cleaning, if any was to a minimum and towels were not changed even when we asked. On one occasion where we were in the room in the afternoon a maid simply entered the room, saw we were there, was startled and made some poor excuse about looking for her "chemicals"..it was all rather suspicious. Sorry TRYP, we will not be staying again.

Hotel bruyant, chambre pas très propre

Posted Aug 22, 2015

Great family hotel

Posted Aug 21, 2015
Pros: The room.
Cons: parking situation
Location: Please read above.
The Tryp is in a great location, within easy walking distance to the Empire state building, Macy's Herald square, Penn station and Times square. We stayed in their family room which is HUGE by NYC standards. We had 2 queen size beds, 2 bunk beds and a pull out couch in a sitting area. Bathrooms are huge and very modern. This is a great place to stay if traveling with kids. This is our second time staying here and would stay here again on a future trip to NYC. The only disappointing thing is the closest parking garage is no longer associated with the hotel and is very expensive with no in/out privileges.

Good location. Quiet.

Posted Aug 19, 2015
Pros: Location. Quiet.
Cons: Some of the reception staff could have been more professional.
Location: Times Square, Theatres. Lots of places to eat. Empire State building. Top of the Rock.
The hotel was located just by Penn Metro so good for travel underground. Also close to Time Square and other places of interest. The room although by the lift was quiet.

Gutes modernes Hotel in idealer Lage. Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Nice hotel in Midtown NY

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: The decoration is very nice an the staff was efficient.
Location: There are many things you can do around, major places are within a walking distance and there is a metro station very close to the hotel.
We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. At first we were a bit worried about the noise as many buildings in the street were under construction but the room was very quiet. The lobby is trendy as well as the room's decoration. The staff was particularly nice and helpful. It is ideally located, within a walking distance from Times Square, the Empire State Buillding, and close to Macy's for shopping! I will definitely go back there next time I'm in NY.
