This hotel was surprisingly nice and close to city center. Price is high, but this is I believe because of the location and room is bigger the rest in this category.

Goed hotel met een geweldige liggingPosted Oct 1, 2015
Pros: Ligging, ruime nette kamer.

Nice hotel great locationPosted Sep 20, 2015
Pros: Location. New facility. Nice clean room.
TRYP is a very nice hotel just a short walk from Penn Station and Times Square. Subway station at end of block offers easy access to the whole city.

Posizione strategica a 2 passi da Time SquarePosted Sep 15, 2015
Sulla 35 non eccessivamente trafficato. Agevole e vicinissimo accesso alla metro e a Penn Station. Siamo arrivati verso le 19 e dopo un veloce passaggio in camera, via a piedi verso Time Square. Già immersi nelle luci dellA notte di NY.Camera comoda e pulita . Aria condizionata sempre al top ma modulabile. Consigliato !

Great location, lovely roomPosted Sep 15, 2015
We had room 1505 on the corner so huge windows on two sides. The room was clean, bright, very comfortable and modern with a lovely bathroom and great double headed shower. Complimentary drink on arrival and discount on the breakfast although this was quite limited. Although the hotel is in a slightly grubby block of West 35 Street the location is excellent being within a few of blocks of Penn Station, Madison Square Gardens, Macys, Times Square, Empire State Building, Broadway, the subway lines and the HighLine. Staff were helpful and friendly. Should we visit NY again in the future this would be a hotel of choice.

Great hotel in a quiet locationPosted Sep 14, 2015
I absolutely loved my stay here. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had a very early flight into the city and they had a room ready for me several hours in advance of check in and stored my bag while I waited. The room was new and clean and I loved the shower. The hotel provides wall mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash so there is no need to pack your own. The bed was comfy and the room was surprisingly large given the midtown location. It's a quick two minute walk to the AC&E line at 34th. I will definitely stay again.

Terrible Experience Ever!!!Posted Sep 10, 2015
Pros: Location is OK, room is clean & comfortable (only if they give you enough beds). Amenities are very minimal, no pool, tiny exercise room, business ctr
Cons: The front desk staff needs to be trained all over again on hospitality. Poor excuse and not solving problems will only turn customers away.
Location: Walking distance to Times Squares.
We are a family of five and we pre-paid months ahead for a FAMILY ROOM enough for 8 ppl for 4 nights at TRYP on W.35th St. When we arrived, the staff put us in a Samsung Experience room with 1 bed + 2 bunk beds only. When asked if we can move to a different room, she told us the hotel was sold out and offered a roll-away bed and offered to move the next day. The next day, when we requested to move, the staff told us again the hotel was sold out. That really boils my blood, we booked the room months ahead, we're not walk-in customers asking for a room. If we wanted to cramp, we wouldn't have chosen this hotel. After a long while of computer clicking, she finally said she "FOUND" the room for us for the next 3 nights. When asked if there's a rate difference, the staff gave us the usual "manager is in meeting" crap. Our complaints are, firstly, they sold our room to someone else. Secondly, the sold-out excuse is unacceptable because we paid in advance to reserve that room. Thirdly, they still have the nerve to try not to move us the next day. Finally, I'm sure there is a big diff btw the room rates and they didn't offer any compensation. This is the most terrible experience we have ever had and we do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Recommended hotel in the heart of the cityPosted Sep 7, 2015
Pros: Rooms were modern clean and spacious and could sleep up to six people in comfort. Good value too considering the location .
Cons: The bar was closed when we returned from our day out seeing the sights although it was pretty late!
Location: Too much to mention! The location of this hotel is excellent for most peoples needs. There's a subway station just a block away at Madison Square
Found this hotel on Expedia.co.uk. Seemed to be in a good location and offer what we needed as a family of five. This hotel turned out to be very modern and spacious hotel with just a short walk to good transport links to the rest of the city.
