Beautiful Hotel

Posted Feb 19, 2017
Close to nice restaurants, great shopping areas and right in the heart of NYC. Hotel staff were very nice and flexible. If you check in late, you can ask for a later check out time! I was able to check out at 1pm instead of 12pm. I enjoyed my stay. Rooms have a cozy feeling, very well decorated and also room was very clean. Will come back

Awesome Hotel

Posted Feb 16, 2017
Pros: Loved the room how it was structured and decorated the best hotel room during our trip to the USA.
Cons: Include a coffee table or small dining table to used when eating in.
Location: Close to attractions, Deli, shops and attractions also close to Megaus bus stop too 10 to 15 min walk.
Hotel was excellent and suited our family of 6. We were in the family room with 2 queen beds and bunk bed. Beds were comfortable, clean and up-to-date style kids loved it. Hotel is right next door to the Midtown NYPD very safe. Hotel is in an excellent location away from Times Square (way too busy) close to subway, walking distance of Empire state building, Maddision Square Garden, Times Square, restaurants

Pros: It's not too big and has a nice bar area.
Cons: The lighting in the rooms felt akin to waiting in a lab to have blood drawn. Nothing cozy about this place at all.
Other than the bed, there is nowhere to sit. Lighting is just awful. My shower didn't work, and when I tried to call the front desk, I realized the phone didn't work either.

Nice hotel great staff. I only had 2 gripes during my stay. 1 construction outside the large window starting at 6.30am. 2 yhe bedding smelt like it was washed in perfume. I ended up replacing the pillows for towels.

I went to NYC with my daughter for my bday. We only went for one night stay to attend a live show. As soon as,we arrived to the hotel, the attendant at the front desk ask me if I had reservations and I told him that I did but I'm a little early due to traveling from PA. He immediately looked me up and told me that my room is not ready but he can give me another room if I wish. I told him I would appreciate it very much. He gave me an upgrade to a bigger room and it was a premium suite. Everything after that was awesome too! I will definitely stay there again!

Too bad front staff was rude the hotel was beautif

Was charged twice one night had to show my itinerary to the manager to ensure that the rate was honored; union getting home turns out I still was charged a higher rate and now both TRYP and Expedia are playing the blame game. Also, the $65/night parking made the cost of this hotel equal to the amount we would have paid for the most expensive choice we had available. Left with a bitter taste in our mouth after such an amazing experience otherwise is sad. New York again, absolutely but unless this is resolved TRYP and Expedia will no longer have myself, my sister, or my family as customers.

Hello whatAshame, Thank you for letting us know of your concerns. At your convenience please e-mail me at cnathan@tryphotelnyc.com so I can assist with the billing issue. The $55 parking charge is the average rate in the city however I feel your pain. I usually reccomend taking public transportation whenever possible. Please feel free to give us a call if you need assistance arranging your next trip. We look forward to having you back.
