We loved the location, staff was very helpful and nice. Only down falls were the flag on the outside of the building kept hitting the building/our window and woke us up all night long. Also you could hear all the noise from the street traffic. Otherwise we really like the hotel.

Will never go back, too expensive and not clean

Posted Dec 21, 2015
Pros: Location, valet and concierge.
Cons: Cleanliness, furniture, front desk personnel
Hotel kept making extra charges on my card even though the stay was prepaid. They were very rude about solving this issue. The rooms are not clean, furniture is old, a/c is loud and old as well. The hotel is in need for a renovation, it is not in line with the fees they charge. Would never stay there again.

Room size was wonderful. The carpet was old so it gave the room a musty smell.

Decent hotel but nothing to write home about...

Pros: Great location! The room was a decent size for NY.
Cons: You know, it's just not very upscale. If you know this going in, it's an okay hotel. It was a little pricey for what it is though.
Location: Grand Central Station is close so it's a great location to get to anywhere in the city and beyond. Get a metro card and explore!
The Court is not truly a 4 star hotel - 3, 3 1/2 maybe, that being said...the staff were nice and helpful. But don't expect to have assistance with luggage to your room or for anyone to hail a cab for you, it's not that kind of hotel. The rooms are a decent size, the windows don't look over much, everything is relatively clean but very spartan. Plenty of hot water, not much in the way of amenities, comfortable bed, dresser in the closet (?), towels not so wonderful, mini fridge. During our stay our neighbors room number plaque fell off (?) and was just left propped up against the wall on the floor for the duration of our stay. The hotel also showed signs of painted over damage - major water or fire??? The hotel is in a good location; close to Grand Central Station, lots of places to eat and a nice little bodega across the street. There is a restaurant but it looked overpriced for what it was and there were great diners up the block. Also a bar with odd choices of sports and 80s and 90s pop music blaring in the corner. Not bad, not great. Would not choose this hotel again in the future though. We've had better experiences in New York.

Nice hotel with good location. Hotel staff is friendly. But hotel management needs to be improved, they first gave me a room that was occupied, although they apologized later. After I checked out, I found I left a portable charger in hotel room, but when I called back, they told nobody found and reported it.

Holidays in NYC

Great hotel in the Murray Hill neighborhood. For the price you get a huge room by NYC standards. Ample closet space, comfortable bed, great restaurant and bar. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Just minutes from everything

The staff was very willing to help with directions and to answer questions! Bathroom is dated, could use remodeling. Only 5 blocks from time square and you really didn't hear the traffic at night!

Good location, needs a refresh.

Well located hotel, decent burger bar connected. Lack of gym in building is a minus (it's next door requiring you to go outside in winter). But the rooms... Carpet tape in multiple places, in window AC units loud and causing a lot of street noise in the room. Was good for 2 years after it was a W hotel and it doesn't look like they have put any money into its maintenance.
