2 Blocks from Times Square

Posted Jun 5, 2017
Pros: Honestly the friendly staff were the best part of the quaint hotel. The rooms were really nice to relax after our long days of site seeing.
Location: So close to everything. Very easy to get back to in time to change for a play each evening.
Lovely boutique hotel. Stayed there with my 18 year old daughter to celebrate her graduation. Convenient to Theater District, Times Square, Bryant Park and Grand Central Terminal.

Well-located older hotel with lovely staff.

Posted Jun 4, 2017
Pros: The location and the staff
Cons: The lighting was very much too dim. And there was no extra bedding in case one became chilled (which I did).
Location: Near Times Square and all the activities of that area. Not far from anything
Convenient. Small room, adequately cared-for. Good mattresses and nice bedding.

Great location

Lovely hotel right between 5th Avenue and Times Sq, easy walk to most of the central attractions. Stayed in a standard room with 2 double beds for 2 adults and 17 yr old daughter, room was clean, slightly larger than expected after reading lots of other reviews and it had everything you'd need except a kettle but there's tea and coffee free downstairs if you need your morning fix. Staff were very friendly and really helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Pros: Location, staff, room size, bathroom.

Location: Excellent location.
Staff was excellent. Loved the location. Room was a nice size. Carpet needed replacing. Bathroom was updated recently and was very nice.

Awesome stay!

Every single one of the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. No spa or massages but they do have a sauna at the gym, and a restaurant and a bar. The room was small but just right for 2. And the location was superb, we walked everywhere! Very happy with my stay!

quiet luxury hotel

So many amenities--plush towels and bathrobes, little chocolates on the bed, quiet at night; windows do open! coffee in the morning downstairs and hot cider during the day...many lovely special touches, plus a cheerful and accomplished staff that provides a welcoming atmosphere.

Cold water faucet was hot, and so was the hot water faucet. Terrible coffee. Average room. No comfortable common space. Tiny gym with an outdated treadmill. The location is excellent and that is essentially what you are paying for with this hotel

Charming smaller hotel in perfect location.

For the money, this is one of my favorite nyc hotels. The location is amazing. Rooms are small but have everything you need. Comfy beds, great staff, friendly vibe. There is even a cute little library downstairs where you can read a number of different newspapers.

St. Patrick's Day Parade Pot of Gold Hotel

Outstanding, responsive service by staff. Very friendly. The best stay I've had in NYC. Free fresh hello oranges at front desk, coffee in a.m. and hot cider in afternoon. Welcome chocolates in room, and after room cleaning. Robes, steam room; open 24/7 on 3rd floor was GREAT. Wife & I had fantastic experience. We marched in 2017 St. patrick's Day Parade; NYPD Emerald Society. Coming back in 2018.
