Gorgeous View

The room and amenities were great, the hotel staff was pleasant. The view was absolutely fantastic.

Mala logistica

Llegamos alrededor de la 1 am muy cansados y encima. Para dieron una habitación en la que había huéspedes dentro. Tuvimos que pasar de nuevo a la recepción Y tardaron más de media hora en darnos una nueva habitación porque no encontraban la reserva. Muy mala experiencia. Además bastante caro para lo que es.

Hotel is ok, location is great...

If you are looking for a five stars facility, with everything you see in hotels of this category, you will be dosapointed.. A butique hotel, minimalistic by all means. Nice for a weekend , if you are fine with basic facilities , and with long minutes of waiting to the lifts ( on the rooftop there is a lovely bar, and it is very popular ...) Location is great, and so is the rooftop bar..

Beautiful Hotel

Pros: Location Room design / decor Morning scones / evening wine
I was a little worried by some of the reviews but I had a fabulous stay here. The hotel staff were quite friendly, the room was lovely and I very much enjoyed it. Thank you!

Great hotel, in the heart of SoHo

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience. Free Wi-Fi, new modern facilities, and nice staff. Fun rooftop bar that is hip and popular. I would recommend to anyone coming into NY for the weekend.

The James does not have 2 beds in a rm-only sgls

Pros: a bit of an inconvenience that 2 elevators are required to get you up to the room. So don't leave anything behind when you leave.
Cons: Had to call for washcloths - a bit odd that there was only 1 washcloth in bath.
Door man, easy to find, great location if visiting lower side of NYC - close to metro. Nice continental breakfast in lobby and wine/cheese at 6pm. Hotel did not seem too booked - never a crowd. Room was very comfortable, sounds drowned out by nice new windows, excellent HVAC system-very quiet. Modern, sophisticated, artsy, hip, comfortable The glass bath was a bit of a shocker but fun. Huge shower no bathtub The bath amenities smell terrific. Housekeeping had a sense of humor and aimed the handheld shower towards the door so you couldn't help but get sprayed when you turned it on if you didn't notice it. This happened 2x-once upon arrival and then after turn-down.

ich war noch nie vorher in new york und würde immer wieder in diese hotel fahren - begeisterung pur - ich hatte von freunden die empfehlung bekommen

Really good stay. Any problem taken care of, lots of nice touches, great pool and fantastic location. Rooms a good size too and well designed.

Staff was nice and helpful. We tried cancelling as we're not coming to Soho but Expedia refused a refund.
