Soho gemPosted Nov 3, 2015
Very pleasant hotel in Soho. Close to subway and the village. Service and cleanliness excellent. A little noisy for sleeping due to traffic noise. We had a great breakfast in the restaurant. Coffee and scones in the morning in the lobby was a nice touch.

Good location in Soho.Posted Oct 3, 2015
Rooms are small, even the corner rooms - welcome to New York... Bartender at garden lounge was fantastic. Food was pretty good as well. Roof top bar/club has fantastic views, but can be very crowded. If you go to bed before 2am, don't stay on the 17th floor - club is right above and you definitely feel the beat.

$700 a night and you can't use pool during the dayPosted Sep 18, 2015
The reason I booked this hotel through Expedia was to get a hotel where I could hang out at a pool during the day. When I arrived they said there was no staff up there and we were not allowed. Perhaps it's expedias fault for not checking.

Super freundliches Personal.

What a wonderful time!Posted Aug 31, 2015
Pros: Loved everything. Everyone was great. The pool is fantastic.
Cons: iPhone docks in all rooms would be nice (although we were brought one upon request..it was old though). The TV remote and setup was strange.
Location: We had both been to DB Kitchen (amazing!) so we did dinner in Chinatown, which is very close and delicious.
From the moment we checked in the hotel and staff were beyond expectations. This is a VIP hotel with Expedia Gold Status rewards available. We were upgraded to a very chic and trendy corner room with great views of the city. A few other "special" perks were provided and were greatly appreciated. The hotel is very clean and unique. The rooms are great. The hotel is great for a staycation ( we live nearby) as it has gorgeous rooms, wonderful amenities, excellent restaurant, a pool and 3 different places for recreation (drinking), inside and outside. I love the James!

This is great hotel with a very friendly staff. Rooftopbar was very expensive, but that is what to expect on a high class hotel.

Great place to stay in Soho! Would def stay there again. Everything was awesome! I just love Soho! Subaway was around the corner and street was quiet. We had corner room in 14 floor and the view was amainzing. Try this!!!
