wonderful place to stay

Our stay was very nice and the staff was so helpful. We would stay hear again. The hotel has a lot of history which I wish they would provide.

Expensive

Stayed two nights. Very expensive. Paid $398.21 per night. Paid taxes $343.46.Breakfast consists of one drink - one coffee or one juice. One omelette - extra charge for toast. Nothing closeby. Good walk for Tour Bus.

Fabulous Hotel

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights and I can honestly say that this may be my favorite NYC hotel (stayed at many). The staff was so attentive and friendly. We ordered food from a local restaurant to be delivered to the hotel, and it was brought right to our room in a matter of minutes! One needs a room key to use the elevator, so that makes for a safe stay. The room was clean, quiet, and enormous. We look forward to visiting again!

A quiet NYC home

I'm sure everyone who travels to NYC has had the experience of a beautiful lobby and disappointing room (think the Plaza). I usually choose a hotel based on proximity to my meetings and this was the first time I stayed at the Lombardy. The lobby was average, so I was apprehensive about what I would find as my room. I was really pleased with my room. It resembled a small loft, with a kitchenette, but it had been totally renovated! Refinished wood floors, mid-century design, grohe bath fixtures. And Very Quiet. It was akin to staying at a friends place.

Great location, friendly staff

My family of 3 enjoyed our stay at the Lombardy very much. The room (apartment) was spacious and clean and very close to everything! We were disappointed with the construction going on but since most of our stay was on the weekend, it was only an inconvenience (noise) for one morning. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a large, comfortable, clean room and will definitely book there again!

Home away from Home

We've stayed here several times, and been very well served by this gem of a hotel. Staff is welcoming and helpful, and rooms/suites large, comfortable, and distinctively decorated. Cafe and restaurant on premises are both outstanding, and location couldn't be more convenient. It's like having a pied-a-terre in midtown.
