You know you are in Manhattan. Should be pretty happy with a hotel at this premier location. Walking distance to metro, Empire State Building, Koreatown... Amenities are minimal: no coffee machine or kettle (no teabags, of course), no conditioner for my room -- only shampoo... The lobby area is a pitiful corner with some easy chairs. Upkeep of the facilities, I would say, can be better. For instance, the cabinets are really old; the shower in my room does not have a curtain, which leaves water on the bathroom floor. I asked. No, they don't provide curtains, although curtain rings are still there. My bathroom sink was a little clogged upon check in. The maintenance staff / handyman was very nice, and did a neat job. The cleaning ladies are diligent, servicing the room everyday. The lobby staff would help whenever you ask, but just don't feel too warm -- I might be expecting too much, this is New York. Bedsheets and towels are clean. Internet is fast. I had a Zoom meeting without any issue.

The front desk phone was not working. The card machine was broken. The front desk team was kind enough to get someone to open the door if I stepped out. I think the rate is too high for the size and availability. I know NY is expensive but this place at other locations would have cost me 1/2 of the price I paid.

This was such a perfect little space for a one night spot to lay my head. Really enjoyed it! Had everything i needed. Only thing i could recommend is there being more than just 1 thin blanket. I also always travel with a white noise machine, i think without it may have been easy to hear other rooms. But overall i loved my stay, very walkable to nice areas. Would book again for sure!!

The hotel is located in a convenient area but it’s a hidden doorway that gets you to the “lobby” of the hotel. Room was not cleaned and provided furniture was broken. Would not book again

The hotel was described as a boutique hotel; inaccurate. Arrived early, hours before check in. Was told they would hold my bag and room would be ready in an hour. Two hours later I returned and was told a room was still unavailable. When I did check in, room had no information about TV, hotel, and not even a "do not disturb" sign....nothing. Before checking out, I spoke to the individual at the desk, and said all packed but might need another 15 minutes as I was meeting my daughter for coffee. Sorry cant happen, cards are automated, have to be out by set time. I am absolutely sure, a housekeeper was waiting outside my door, ready to service the room. After a little back and forth, she added a little extra time, so I could retrieve my bag and use the facilities. On a positive note, the individual was very helpful finding a cab to the airport. And yes the location was a factor as it was close to my daughters work location. But I will not stay there again.

The hotel is very well located and you can walk to Koreatown and Times Square, and the staff is very friendly. The only thing that did not like was that the fridge was very dirry. In the frozen section it had blood. It seems a guest bought meat and while putting inside the fridge it spilled some blood and the cleaning lady did not bother to look inside. Luckily for me did not buy anything or had to use the fridge. Other than that everything else was fine.

Really recommend staying if you’re just needing a place to sleep. It’s clean, the staff was friendly, and it’s in the heart of Flatiron District. Very walkable to most of the tourism sites as well.

Pro: It was a small room but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom larger than expected. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating. Great location. Con: Only one little bar of soap for two people (although it was nice, creamy soap). It would have been great to have a handheld shower head, as there was no tub.

House keeping lady knocked on my door. When I told her not to come in, she forced her way in anyways with her key card and asked me if I needed anything. I appreciate her asking if I needed anything but, coming into someone’s room when the door is already locked is invasion of privacy to the guests and very unexpected. The TV also didn’t work in my room and I tried everything to get it to work. When I brought it up to the receptionist, she made a note of it instead of getting maintenance to fix it. I wouldn’t come back here again because of the house keeping situation. Also, the price is too high for the small rooms.

We enjoyed our stayed at the hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful. The place was clean and we felt safe the whole stay. There was a wholes food market with a dinner in the corner and that was very convenience. Subway station and bus stops were very close by. Overall, we are happy with our stay and we will be definitely staying there again.

The property did not look like the pictures advertised. It smelled dirty and strongly of marijuana. There was also nobody at the front dest when I arrived and had to wait 5-10 minutes for the staff to arrive. Very unsatisfactory service.

Great Location but very small rooms
Our room was very very small with a treacherous step up into the bathroom. The air conditioner was a window box that turned on and off continually. Perhaps the most annoying was to find an extra fee on our credit card- for internet, "free" breakfast and the "free" bottled water. after taxes and fees had been included in the total Expedia price. The staff told me that is normal for any Expedia bookings.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE
THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE I HAVE RESERVED AND PAID FOR THIS HOTEL 10 DAYS IN ADVANCE WE ARRIVED FROM A LONG TRIP TO THIS HOTEL AT AROUND 5.00 PM AND WHEN I ASKED FOR MY ROOM THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS SO RUDE AND HE TOLD US UNFORTUNATELY THEY DON'T HAVE ROOM AVAILABLE SO THE ONLY CHOICE WAS TO ACCOMMODATE US TO ANOTHER HOTEL 1.5 MILES AWAY I ASKED MAY YOU SELECT ONE CLOSE BECAUSE I CHOOSE THIS HOTEL ACCORDING TO MY NEEDS NOT WHAT YOU WANT AND THEY SAID TO ME IF YOU WANT IF NOT WE REFUND MONEY BUT TO BOOK A HOTEL IN NEW YORK WITHIN A DAY MEANS IS TRIPLE MONEY SO FOR ME I EVER WITH COME IN THIS HOTEL AND IF IT FOR FREE AND I WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANY ONE STUFF SO RUDE WAS READY TO FIGHT WITH ME

Great location. Nice staff. Great muffins for continental breakfast. But very, very small room but very comfortable bed. Very clean sheets and towels. Bathroom was newly renovated with clean towels and nice cute toiletries BUT the bathroom had a very BAD odor/smell of sewage. However, the smell did not extend to sleeping in bed so I slept well and bathroom looked really new and clean despite the stench.

Just Say No to the Mave
We arrived at the hotel earlier than check in. We were told to leave our car outside, and they would park it after they checked us in. We left and went into the city. When we returned our car was parked and the person at the desk explained to us that we had to walk 3 1/2 blocks to the parking garage to get our luggage. When we arrived at the parking garage, our car windows were down with the keys in the ignition and a whole carton of cigarettes had been stolen from the center console. When we finally got to our room, it was as small as a child's room in a studio apartment with no place to put our luggage. The shower had no door or curtain and the two beds were so close together that you couldn't even walk through if someone was sitting on one of the beds. We immediately checked out and asked for a refund. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!

Pathetic.
Made reservation on hotel.com (and prepaid) and hotel was unable to find it in their system; made us wait for 20 minutes to replace reservation and did not apologize; staff was sullen, rude and unhelpful; room was tiny; shower stayed cold; wifi barely worked; hotel would not change sheets/clean the room without a $75 charge.

I was charged an additional fee per day, there was no housekeeping, the two men at the front desk didn't even make an effort to open the door or help me with my two large suitcases, the room was small and shoddy. I moved to the W where I will book and stay again.

If you're looking for an inexpensive, self-service stay w/a decent bed, free WiFi and a powerful shower this place will do. Heads up maintenance team; elevator #1 was a little sketchy and the air-conditioner squeaks in room #306.
