Great boutique hotel one block from Times Squar

We loved the helpful staff and our quiet room. They gave us wonderful suggestions on where to go and where to eat. We would definitely stay here again. Great location. Decent sized room with an awesome shower and a guest lounge for coffee. Very comfortable bed.

Excellent location

Pros: Location. Quite room. Very comfortable bed.
Cons: Heating controls in room were not very responsive but we were able to bring the temps down eventually.
Location: Walk to Columbus Circle and Broadway. Close to many subway lines.
If a room with a view isn't a priority (it wasn't for us) this is an excellent choice for a short stay in NYC. We needed to be close to Broadway and Columbus Circle for one night and this hotel was perfect. Clean, quite room, comfortable bed, great shower. Very small lobby with no restaurant/bar but friendly staff at check-in and check-out. Would stay again!

good hotel

Pros: Small personal hotel with lovely staff who remember who you are
Cons: The decor, some items needed repaired i.e. The curtain rail in our room and wobbly lamps. But it was clean.
Location: It was located next to where the late show is filmed and the soup man from Seinfeld was next to it too. 2 minute walk to Times Square and theatres.
This hotel was in a good location and easy walking distance to Times Square and the theatres. The rooms were large and the beds very comfortable. The decor was lovely and modern but was showing signs of wear and tear. Maid service daily and the linen was spotless. The rooms have a mini bar but it was grossly over charged but there was space in the fridge to put your own water etc. The staff were all lovely and helpful. There is a guest lounge where you can get hot drinks like lattes, tea, coffee and hot chocolate 24hrs a day. It said there was items for breakfast but there was never any left when we got there except one morning there was some banana bread left which was tasty. I would definitely go back to this hotel as it was well worth its price. They also left a bottle of champagne on ice with 2 glasses to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

good location.

Our room was nice but very small. Felt chlausterophobic because the window faced a rock wall about 6 feet away. Very dark room. Friendly staff and awesome location. Elevator was super slow.

Nice, quaint hotel. Close to our destination.

Pros: I got a great deal on Expedia. Was just in for an evening for my daughter's college audition.
Location: Great restaurants, enjoyed Bare Burger.
Friendly, welcoming staff. We were only there overnight, but a nice, quick experience.

Perfect Location

The location is perfect as it is close to Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, etc.; and more distant locations are easily accessible by public transportation. We found the room to be very clean and the personnel to be pleasant and accommodating. I think we have found our new favorite spot to stay in NYC.

Great find

Pros: Location, friendly staff, quiet room, great price.
Cons: I don't actually have any criticisms, loved this hotel.
Location: Close to everything - easy to walk to Central Park, Times Square, Broadway. Close to several subway options too.
Wonderfully unique hotel with a fantastic location. I couldn't have been happier with my experience, from the friendliness during my check-in, to the quiet comfort of my room. The hot drinks and morning cake in the lounge were appreciated as well. Definitely a great find and I would love to stay here again.

great location but very uncomfortable

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location. Unfortunately the hotel felt very dark and closed in. Room was crowded with unnecessary furniture which left no room for our cases, and we constantly ended up kicking the legs of the bed trying to walk past. There was a safe at the bottom of the wardrobe but not enough space to be able to bend down to use it. Shower head was hanging out the wall in the bathroom and the towels need replacing. Room had no natural light due to our view being a brick wall but this is probably to be expected in New York, however the poor lighting in the room didn't help. Bed was the uncomfiest we've ever slept on. Hotel seemed to have no sound proofing - could hear tvs in other rooms, people talking and lots of outside noise. Nice guest lounge with free tea and coffee but the 'free breakfast' was disappointing and more of a snack. Overall the hotel was fine and is probably great value for money in this area but we personally wouldn't stay again.
