Fantastic location with a great balcony!

Posted Jan 2, 2017 on Hotels
I asked for a room on a higher level which I did not get. In spite of that, the staff was friendly and kind. Valet parking the car was not a problem. Room was just right. Here's an important recommendation: PUT FELT ON THE LEGS OF THE DESK CHAIR. When you pulled the chair out to sit on it, it screeched. I heard the room above me chair do the same thing at 2 a.m. ugh. Love sitting on the porch outside even in the cold!

Mom and daughters trip to NYC

Posted Nov 17, 2016 on Orbitz
We live in NJ. My 2 adult daughters and I decided to take a 3 day trip to NYC and act like tourists. The Nolitan Hotel staff helped us with so many wonderful suggestions (even what to order for breakfast when visiting another restaurant:)). They helped make our trip so incredibly memorable! The hotel itself had a great balcony, high end fixtures, unique design choices, fabulous bedding and robes. It allowed us to walk to Little Italy, So Ho, East and West Village for so many fun great things to do local bands interesting venues, comedians and wonderful food. We took a 5 minute cab ride to both Wall street (which had a festival and great things to see) and then the Brooklyn Bridge (walking over it was absolutely incredible). AWESOME trip!

Favorite New York Hotel

The Nolitan is my current favorite in New York. Great location, small, quiet super friendly and it doesn't have that nightclub vibe that the Standard Hotel has. It tells you something that the hotel is almost entirely booked by europeans.

the hotel although sparse in decor and ameneties was pleasant. My only complain was the service in their restaurant, Bread. The sundau crew was full of attitude and unattentive
