Super Hotel clise to world Trade Center

Very helpfull Staff, we missed our luggage and they calles for us so we could head out. Very friendly! A bit dark in the lobby but nice

Wonderful hotel!!

This hotel was amazing! The staff was just so outstanding! They upgraded our room to a higher level and corner room to get the corner view. They knew we were on our honeymoon and gave us a bottle of complimentary champagne and free drinks at the bar. Very nice room and bathroom. Very clean and soap is amazing lol. In downtown right by 911 memorial and definitely recommending this to anyone!!

Great staff! Amazing view! But a shabby property.

LOCATION The location is actually nice because you’re right by WTC and close to all the subway lines. Even though this is the Financial District (which sometimes felt like a ghost town over the weekend), I was happy with the location. PROPERTY This hotel was opened in 2010, and the 6 years of wear/tear show. The lobby is very sleek and well kept. But the guest floors are all dings/scrapes/scratches. Didn’t really use any of the amenities other than the free morning coffee (VERY nice touch!). ROOM Be aware, the “Wonderful Room” (aka the cheapest) does NOT have a view onto WTC. I didn’t know that until I checked in. I was fine paying the $50/night extra, but it would’ve been nice if the room descriptions on Hotels.com mentioned that. Otherwise, the room was pleasant – big comfy bed, lots of toiletries, fun Bluetooth speaker, etc. STAFF The staff was genuinely interested in doing whatever it took to make our stay pleasant. Our first night, the room was missing a key to the mini-bar (called and the pleasant/professional gentleman I spoke to had it brought right up). Missing bottle opener (the staff brought one right up). Had a whining noise coming from our vent (Tracey at the front desk had an engineer look at it and had us moved to a different room + added some Starpoints to my account to help make up for the inconvenience). OVERALL The staff and the view are what I’ll remember from our stay (and I’ll hope the property will get polished up to get rid of the wear/tear).

Absolutely LOVED this hotel! Right across the Freedom Tower, the new Calatrava monument and Eataly! Walking distance to train station (2 mins) and so many shops and restaurants. Be sure to have dinner at Schilling (1 min walk from hotel)! Rooms are super comfortable and the views are just incredible. Other reviewers complained about lack of light for makeup but the bathrooms have a lighted magnifying mirror. Coffee and tea maker in room upon request free of charge. Hotel offers free coffee and tea every morning until 10am. The gym is the best I've ever been in hotelwise. Happy hour at the bar from 5-8 with reasonable prices.

Too Dark!

Pros: The bed was comfortable, the view was incredible, the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Coffee makers in the room! Light the place up! It was too much like a funeral parlor!
Location: Location was great. Right near the memorial which is what we wanted.
The staff is awesome! But the hotel itself is way to dark for my taste. the rooms are comfortable and the view we had was great, but there are amenities that are not in the room and that makes it hard to rate it higher than a 3 for me. Coffee makers should be standard equipment and not a request. Getting up and drinking coffee in my room is important to me. I don't want to have to get up throw on some clothes and go down to the lobby to get my first cup of coffee in the morning. The fridge would have been nice to use but it was full of items that you had to purchase at rediculous prices!! I realize this is New York City, but I'm not paying $7.00 for a bottle of water!
