Nice staff, we didn't like our view of our first room so they upgraded us with no problem & free of charge.

Rates are NOT 5 star hotel rates. Buyer beware!

Posted Feb 18, 2017
I paid the expensive rates of a 5 star hotel, which includes more facilities than a 3 star hotel. BUT then found that you have to pay extra for those 5 star facilities whether you use them or not. Essentially you arec passing twice! Hotel staff just had a standard response and rattled it off parrot fashion making me think that they do this often. Also if you do insist on staying here make sure you don't get a room with an adjoining door as I could hear everything from the next room and they could probably do the same with us. This limited my enjoyment of the room, chatting to my husband and watching tv etc. I didn't ask to change rooms as my children were next door the other way. No adjoining door and couldn't hear them!

5 Star Staff!!!

Posted Feb 9, 2017
Wow! I really can't say enough about our stay at the Warwick. The front desk receptionist(I didn't catch her name but she was working around 7:30am January 20th and the morning of the 21st) was just so nice and accommodating. Very chatty when we checked in and helps a find a more comfortable room than we had initially booked. We had a small room issue but she and the general manager took care of the matter in a quick and efficient manner. The rest of our stay was amazing, especially with that awesome room upgrade. The bellman working on the evening of the 20th (and a few other nights after)was so helpful throughout our stay as well. He literally stood in the middle of the street(almost getting hit a few times it looked like) to get a cab in the cold rain and was ready to help us with a troublesome taxi driver one night when we got dropped off. He made us feel very welcome throughout our stay with his jokes and big smile. I really hope someone from the hotel reads this and tries to recognize these two for their great job and excellent hospitality skills.

Nice hotel close to all the restaurants

Posted Jan 30, 2017
Pros: Staff is friendly and it has the best bar and street view anywhere in the City.
Cons: The lower room levels can get noisy in the early mornings with truck deliveries.
Location: Shopping and easy to walk to the Broadway shows.
Always stay here in New York . Great location and close to shopping and all my business meetings.

Buyer beware -- Extra Charges Levied

Posted Jan 25, 2017
Pros: Good location. Pretty fit-out.
Cons: Honesty in pricing (as outlined). Shower temperature went from hot to cold to hot -- old piping perhaps?
Location: Close to Museum of Modern Art, Central Park, subway... great area.
Through my Expedia booking, I paid in advance for 2 rooms for 2 nights at the Warwick. Upon check-out, each room was charged an additional $25/night 'facilities fee' simply for being there (this did not correspond to use of gym or business center or parking or anything else). When I disputed this charge with the front desk, they claimed that the extra $25/night should have been clear at the time I booked on Expedia. Well it certainly wasn't. I would encourage Expedia to not provide listing services to hotels that have baseless add-on charges that simply mask to the full overnight rate.

Thank you for your remarks following your recent stay with us. Although we were glad to read that you enjoyed your overall stay, it was disappointing reading that your stay was marred by the facility fee we have in the hotel. The facility fee grants our guests unlimited access to many of the amenities in the hotel including free local and long distance phone calls from the room, 24 access to the fitness center and WiFi access to name a few. I hope you will decide to stay with us again in the future. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any further assistance. Warm Regards, Billy Kang Guest Relations Manager

Charming boutique hotel with good updates. Clean, well-lit hallways, new bathrooms, fresh paint, comfortable rooms. Nice staff, elevators work well. Good restaurants. I stay here all the time and am never disappointed. It's a classy, intimate hotel with reasonable prices and complete comfort.

Fantastic Central Location for Seeing Manhattan

Posted Jan 19, 2017
Pros: Location and Cleanliness
Cons: Bathroom was very small but it's an older hotel and that's what you get
We were only in NYC for 24 hours and had a mission to see as much of Manhattan in that time period that we could. The location of the Warwick was pretty much perfect.
