nice locationPosted Aug 31, 2015
good hotel, close to subway, not five star but not low quality either. great for ones who can go without the excessive luxury look and feel, and just want a good quality place to rest their head at night and explore the city during the day. breakfast was impressive, just about anything you want they had. eggs bacon yogurt fruit waffles bagels toast cereal juices coffee...the beds and pillows were very comfortable and the black out curtains helped alot but make sure you get a room above the ninth/tenth floor the lower the room the more you hear the street noise as with any hotel in the city.

Great location in NYC for the pricePosted Aug 29, 2015
Pros: The staff were friendly and willing to assist us with our needs eg. using the business centre which was a desk and chair in an open area.
Cons: The pillows could be larger and update the A/C in some of the rooms.
Location: The hotel is centrally located near Penn Station which is a big plus and walking distance to a lot of attractions.
The hotel was just around the corner from Penn Station therefore very easy access to the subway system which was a great benefit for us travelling with young kids. The hotel and room were clean and beds very comfortable. The A/C was a bit noisy but tolerable. a hot breakfast was included which was much better than a cheaper hotel we previously stayed at opposite Penn Station.

Well located, nice people working there. The only 2 elevatos make the wait sometimes longer than should be. Breakfast awsome!

Very disappointing experiencePosted Aug 21, 2015
Pros: Not much! Peruvian receptionist and Mexican chap in restaurant, as well as Eastern European bellman were the best staff members. Chinese staff lazy.
Location: Convenient but seedy.
Had to wait several hours for check in a very small lobby, with only two sofas and mountains of luggage. From the elevators to corridors everything was dirty and unappealing. Housekeeping poor, maids don't know how to make a bed , "fresh" bed looked rumpled . Rooms were half made, not vacumed or cleaned. Breakfast disappointing, wifi very slow and reception poor.

Ok hotelPosted Aug 17, 2015
The hotel room was a bit below my expectations. The room's security latch on the door was broken, WIFI did not work at all even though I mentioned it to the front desk, I could not connect. There was no service in my room, so I needed the Wifi. There was a spider the morning I woke up and felt itchy the rest of the day. Not sure if there was a correlation, however I would not stay there in the future.

Very Clean Accessible HotelPosted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: The cleanliness and the effincey of all the staff
Location: This hotel is 1 block down from the Empire State and just round the corner from MSG
On arrival we were courtsesly greeted and check in was very efficient! Upon entry to the room we were greeted with a set of ear plugs next to the bed which rang alarm bells for noise as we were on the 8th floor! But they were really needed after a day's sightseeing in NYC! The room was spacious and VERY CLEAN ! Maybe this was due to the few dollars I left each day for housekeeping! They did a fantastic job !! The breakfast each morning was welcome bacon and scrambled eggs with a wide selection of cereals ,various juices and tea and coffee! It is very central to MSG and Penn St Station If your expecting a no noise room then I suggest your going to the wrong city !

Great location, close to all attractionsPosted Aug 12, 2015
Enjoyed our stay and the location was great. Close to Penn Station, shopping and great food. The price was good and considering the amount of time you actually spend in your hotel it is a good place to stay for the money.

Wonderful hotel for family vacation to NYC.Posted Aug 3, 2015
We stayed 7 nights and this hotel (July 19 to July 26) has everything you could possibly want for a great vacation in NYC. We are family of 4, so we had 2 double beds. We have stayed in NYC before and this room was a good size for NYC. Great wifi, great free breakfast, even the waffle makers for the kids. Staff was helpful and friendly. Location could not be better. We got the week subway passes for 31 dollars each. A, C and E trains half block away. Penn Station block and a half away with many of trains. Quick to uptown or downtown. 24 hour Duane Reade market 1 block, 2 starbucks half a block away. We did all the sights, museums, 2 Broadway Musicals and even a day at Coney Island, the hotel was very quiet at night.
