Perfect location if you drive in and out

We stay in the city quite a bit, like try different locations, and really liked the locale for parking, catching the metro, shopping at Macy's, and driving to the Lincoln tunnel when we left. Don;t expect any view from your room, but then again - don't expect that from any NYC hotels at this price. We had a view of the building next door and barbed wire! The hotel included an adjoining restaurant that is only open for hotel customers at breakfast time (breakfast included). A nice selection of items - though the bacon and scrambled eggs were less than warm, yet still edible. My less than upper scores on hotel staff involves me telling the staff on check-in that we had to park our car, but it wasn't noted on the bill. They have a contract with a local garage at a reduced rate, and when we checked out I wasn't asked about it. No printed receipt was offered (we booked thru Expedia) and I didn't think to ask about parking. We went to pick up the car and didn't have a receipt from the hotel, so I had to go back and pay for parking and return. I think the Staff asking if I parked is expected. Luckily, as said, parking is close. You save $10 by paying at hotel! Low grade on hotel facility is reflected in what can be improved (air conditioner and safe). We would not stay here again, but only because we can get equal quality elsewhere and know our way around. Again, overall a nice facility that has all the features people look for. Don't pass it up if you can't find another.
