Room clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Nice environment. Elevator need more attentional control, not stop the right floor, or just from 4 elevator one moving, other 3 stuck some place.

The hotel was a little noisy. The service at the restaurant was very very slow, it took 30 minutes for us to receive our food.

Great staff but Hotel needs some updating

Pros: Staff
Cons: Room refresh.
The property is very convenient to Newark airport but there isn't much else around unless you have a car. The staff at reception, at the restaurant and throughout the hotel were extremely accommodating and friendly. The hotel itself is a bit dated and the rooms could use a refresh, but otherwise a great place if you want to avoid the high prices of hotels in Manhattan for an NYC visit or for layovers before or after a flight. Shuttle to the airport gives you easy access to trains into the city.

Very comfortable hotel. Will definitely choose it again. It had great food, great service, nice rooms. The staff was wonderful. We were there for a week.

Great, comfortable hotel

It is very quiet and comfortable hotel. Free suttle from and to the hotel was very convenient and it runs every 15 minutes. From the front desk, free warm cookie was very delicious. Cons: The vending machine in every floor does not work for bottled water. When I put the money, every bottled water sold out. I told this to the front desk, a black man staff was very unfriendly and said to buy it from the restaurant in the hotel, and did not apolized for this incovenience. bottled waters were not stocked until I left the hotel after four days. Except the staff, all the other staffs were very friendly and courteous.

Nice hotel close to airport and jersey garden mall

The elderly lady that check us in was not friendly at all, even my 10 year old daughter recognize that . She was ok , but very unfriendly and not what we are accustomed to. I wanted to check on my HHonors but decided to wait until her shift end to ask the night staff, who was very friendly . The other staff were pleasant, particular the shuttle drivers who were very helpful. The bellhop who handled my luggage were very pleasant as well. The room was ok, although being on the 8th floor you looked at nothing but pipes. Very comfortable beds and the meals although overpriced for breakfast was good for lunch. Close to the airport and jersey garden malls.

Room had problems

I was given a room with a shower configured for a wheel chair. The toilet had a leak so it kept making noise throughout the night. The room was not very up to date. The Hotel loozed nice on the outside and lobby areas, but the room was very dated.

Not impressed

The room was dirty. We had two rooms and in one my Son found fresh blood on the pillow case. We told front desk but they could have cared less. I am a Hilton member and because I booked through Hotels.com they seemed upset. They said because of that they couldn't help me with anything.
