What a great relaxing night away for the family!

Pros: It felt hi-scale for an affordable price! The complementary breakfast was one of the best that we have seen!
Cons: Upon arrival, the hallways smelled as if there were people that smoked in their rooms, it was gone a few hours later but was a poor first impression.
Location: the area was confusing YOU MUST USE GPS & even still we ended up mixed up and back tracking.
This was such a wonderful experience for our family! We were, without any issues able to get early check-in. The pool & hot tub area were so clean! Our room king suite room was more than spacious enough with a partial wall for separation of the "bedroom" and "lounging" areas. The fridge wasn't pluged in when we got in the room but I was able to solve that by a quick pull out & plugin.Upon arrival, the hallways smelled as if there were people that smoked in their rooms, it was gone a few hours later but was a poor first impression. It was nice to have the cabinets, microwave., sink, counter, and fridge area separate from the "bathroom area. My oldest son felt that the housekeeping staff was not the friendliest when he went to ask for extra linnens & pillows for the pull-out bed but no other negetive interactions were noted during the tripI can not say enough how happy my guys were with the FULL-SCALE breakfast! Happy teens & husband before going back home! I will always look to stay here when we are traveling into the Newark area!

Needs updating

Location is near airport and suited my purposes for one night. The room size is hard to beat, but the rooms need updating. Peeling paint and worn carpet are signs that the rooms need to be updated. This is especially true with a brand new property being built next door. Competition makes us all better. Roads are confusing, use navigation if you aren’t familiar with the area. Takes 10-15 minutes to get there even though the hotel is across the highway from airport. Runway noise is not a big issue.

Hotel very close to highway and other locations

The hotel was okay. It’s $12 to park just for one day so I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s right off the highway which makes it quick to get anywhere else. The hotel staff were nice but when cleaning in our floor at 8:30 am they were super loud and yelling down the hall to eachother

I trust the Marriott, but not this one!

First the hidden fees were too much for incidental & parking. The bathroom needed repairs. The beds were poorly made. The laundry facility needed repairs, as the expensive dryer does not dry garments in one cycle. I think this was the worst Marriott I’ve ever stayed in.

Smoke and Filth

First room they put us in was absolutely filthy and reeked of cigarette smoke. Changed to a room that was at least clean and did not stink. Would not recommend.

Front Desk staff were extremely helpful in local navigation around construction detours
