Thier is an older gentleman that I asked for a extra key he said why and I said so my friend and I can have our own and he decided to charge me ten for the key beware these guys are scam worst Hotel stay

Manager has a bad attitude!

Pros: Location
Cons: Manager attitude and customer service.
Manager had a horrible attitude. He didn't appear to want our business. I also had to go through Expedia to get help correcting his billing error. I would never stay here. The Best Western just a short distance from here had excellent service. It was a little bit more money, but you get what you pay for.

Nice Hotel and Great Services

Pros: All staff are very friendly
Cons: Better signage for people on the main road to see
Location: Newberg is a bot far from Woodburn (20mins drive) but price is right.
The hotel is a bit far out and sign is not very clear. However, when you have found it, you found yourself a very nice stay. Rooms are clean, big and bed is comfortable. Continental breakfast with croissant sandwiches (Jimmy Dean).

Would not stay here again.

Pros: NOT MUCH
Cons: MOST EVERYTHING
Location: The town is very nice. There is a Drive in the next block, cool to be able to take the kids to.
Hotel building is ok, need some maintenance but ok. when checking in man at desk was rude. I would have left if I didn't already have paid thru expedia and didn't want to lose my money. Then the lady behind me was told that they gave her room away, because she was late checking in, it was only 5 pm and check in was not until 4 pm. So she didn't have a place to stay that night. The man was like not my problem, next ! We didn't go right to our room, because we needed to be somewhere, But when we did go to the room that night, it smelled so bad. but couldn't change rooms because there were no other room. Then at about 8:30 am the maid started to bang on our door and wanted to clean, I told her that we were still sleeping and to come back later. We had been out late at the drive in so we wanted to sleep in a little. So at 9:15 she was back knocking at our door again. Yes I did get mad and told her go away. Check out is not until 11:00 am. TRUST ME THERE ARE BETTER PLACES TO STAY!!

Sorry for your experience. It was that we did not have the pet friendly room for the other lady behind you, she did not have a room. That lady was referred by Shilo inn and she lost her way to our property which is blocks away . She booked on line sitting in a parking lot and was late to reach our property. Sorry to let you know none of our rooms smell bad including the pet friendly room. However we are sorry for your experience. Manager

exaggerated advertising

Location: Sherwood, Oregon. Lots to do
For the price I expected more. Not only were there no rooms with 2 beds larger than what was supposed to be a queen (more like a double), but their breakfast was uncomfortable and limited. Employee was there to monitor guests so they did not take any food to the room. Never experienced that before. The pool was not even open when able to use it and it located in the lobby. Wouldn't let us check in until 2 and check out time was 11 am. Not even a 24 hour stay for $110. Not likely to be recommended to anyone I know.

Two good things and two things I'd recommend changing. The staff was very accomodating with our late arrival, and friendly even in the wee hours of the morning. The room was clean. The room did not have a great smell when we opened the door, but did air out (it was too late at night to ask for a different room, but it did smell better once the window was opened for a bit. I didn't care for the landscaping people who started their grounds work at 6:30am outside our window. Other than that, we needed a clean bed to sleep in and a shower, and the room had both plus a microwave and refrigerator, so it met our needs just fine.

Clean Getaway

Pros: We deeply appreciated the genuine friendliness and care of the staff and entire cleanliness of the facility.
Cons: Maybe a taller more visible sign to see from the street.
Location: This was a great location and gave easy access for the activities we participated in while visiting Newberg.
Everything about this hotel was excellent and very nicely priced. We were so happy about cleanliness and size of the king room, the bathroom, and the breakfast area. Some of friendliest staff we've experienced at hotels. There were very nice selections for breakfast and plenty of seating room in the breakfast area. Although we did not use the pool area, we could see it was very clean, and the people using it were enjoying themselves. This appears to be a very family friendly hotel. We would definitely stay again.
