This hotel is definitely not five stars. The staff is eager to be helpful. When you have an issue they take care of it. They offer a wonderful breakfast, bar onsite, shopping close by.

Hotel was ok. However we had a baby and lots of luggage and had to go up at least 9 steps with no help. The fridge froze everything we put in it. It seemed like a derelict place to me

Dirty halls smell of smoke.

Pros: Convenient to Freeway. Room size adequate. Room condition was better than outside building and hallway.
Cons: Room had paper paste balls on walls. Broken glass in some doorwalls (other rooms near outside door). Breakfast was pitiful. Bathroom light out. Toilet flushes slow and clogs easily. Towels clean, but scratchy. Beds had clean sheets and okay comfort. Passable for guys trip to Army Football game. Don't bring wives unless you want trouble.

Worst Hotel Ever

Pros: nothing
Cons: everything
We were "stuck" at this hotel during a West Point function because the area in general does not have many hotels and the good hotels book up quickly with any kind of big event. We got a smoking room, requested non-smoking when we booked. It smelled so awful we had to keep our window open the whole time and went and bought Vicks to put up our noses at night. The beds were some weird size less than full-size. One bed was broken and at a slant. We found some kind of weird clothing hanger under the bed that looked like it was a homemade weapon. Every night the hotel played very loud never ending music that you couldn't get away from even with ear plugs and two pillows over your head. No elevator service. The worst thing was never ending stairs in the hallways. You have to see it to understand. Whoever designed the layout had to be drunk. There was no security. You can get into any door at any time. The entire place inside and out is literally falling apart and appeared dirty. We were afraid to eat the breakfast. There is nothing good at this hotel at all except that the shower temperature was hot. Pay extra if you can get a room at the higher price hotels, or flat out drive to West Point from Jersey.

Terrible smell

Pros: Not.a.thing!!!!
We arrived late for check in and was told that they only had 3 rooms left and they were all smoking after we had requested non smoking. Apparently it was noted as non smoking requested but they did not look at that. We had 2 children and are NOT smokers. All of the local hotels were booked so there was nothing we could do. We were walked to a separate 'smoking wing'. The entire wing smelled like a cigarette!!! The room was so musty you could hardly breath... everything was yellow... we opened the windows but the heavy smoke smell on the curtains stopped fresh air from coming in. I washed my face and without thinking grabbed a towel... disgusting!!! Everything smelled like smoke and had a film on it. We all woke up with headaches and coughing. Never.again. We requested a refund or partial and was told there was nothing they could do. Terrible!!!
